In all the world, the greatest place,

Has got to be God’s Throne of Grace.

At any time I’m welcome there,

To bring to God my deepest care.

Never a line in which to wait,

Never locked out because too late.

In fact, I find God waits for me,

With open arms expectantly.

Why don’t I come more often then?

Perhaps a lack of discipline.

So many things I need to do.

And all the jobs I must see through.

God’s Throne of Grace is what I need.

Christ meets me there to intercede.

Oh Lord, forgive my lack of prayer,

When e’er I fail to meet Thee there.
