Let's say I am a hop, skip and a click away from you. I live in Australia and have chosen to work online and run my own business from home with just my portable laptop. I work when I choose to work and where I want to work. Currently I am in Bali Indonesia and enjoying a wonderful holiday, networking and meeting people to talk about my business. I still spend a couple of hours a day at the beach or a Cafe to read and send emails and look at how much I have made everyday. This online business takes me all over the world and pays for it too.
I recommend if you are not developing your own online business, take a look around for something just to get started. The learning curve take a while so expect 6 months or up to 12 months before you're making serious income and quit your 9-5 job but if you can speed things up if you find a mentor who is willing to help you for free. Just to get some general directions.
