My name is Iva (pronounced eeva). I was born in Parma, Italy. I followed my family to Australia after finishing High school in Italy. I have been living in Australia for over 45 years and I am an Australian Citizen. I love my adoptive Country and I think it is indeed the " Best Place on Earth" to live in. My Italian roots, however are very strong and I am very proud of my Italian background and of being European. My work Career is in Travel, centred in offering Holiday makers, the opportunity to visit Italy and Europe advising and offering my knowledge as only a "local" can do. I have the best of my two world. In 1986 I started my our Travel Wholesale business to Italy and Europe, producing special interest holiday packages and offering them to Travel Agents to sell to their clients. This business was successfull and I sold it in the year 2000 to an Italian company. In 2001 I started another similar business, this time with an online reservation and e-commerce, software system that I have designed and developed with my partner's help. This product is a great online system that has a lot of potential to service many other small Tour operators World Wide. I have used this system with my own Travel Business since 2003 and it performs well. Since July 2011 we have started again with a new Travel Business and are currently marketing the products online
