Hi! Thanks for stopping by and learning a little bit about me. Well, to start, my name is Monique and I live in North Dacolda (Dakota =p) with my Darling Hubby and our little boy who is 3 years old. We are a christian family and go to a home church that we love to fellowship with.

I am originally from Ontario, Canada. Born and raised there most of my life. My family and I decided in 1997 to become Missionaries so we sold our house and everything in it to travel across America to spread the gospel in a 15 passenger van. That was a pretty exciting experience and learned a lot about myself along the way! I come from a family of 8 and where am I in the chain? Well, I am the eldest. Those of us who grew up being the "oldest" know what that's all about....lots of responsibility and full of interesting experiences. Okay, well, anyway, getting back to our travels....we went to every province and I especially enjoyed Alberta. If I would live any where in Canada, that is where I would be....close to the Rockies! It is so beautiful there! Moving right along......

I met my wonderful husband in Missouri. We got married in Georgia, had our little boy and continued there for 1 year or so....then we moved here close to my hubby's family. I don't mind it here, though I am not much for the cold, I would take the cold over the horrible summers full of gnats and huge mosquitoes in GA any day =)

One of my favorite seasons is Spring. I love to see the green buds blooming from the trees and hearing the birds chirping and singing. A beautiful sign of life after a long dreary winter. I love it! Of course I also enjoy gardening and my favorite part of it is planting....I am not much for weeding but, I do look forward to seeing the plants begin to sprout. Another one of my favorite seasons is Fall mainly because of the colors. I could pass on the falling leaves and cleaning up part =)

My husband is apprenticing as an Electrician and is doing a related study program (which is compulsory in ND). He has two more years to go and then he will be done. As for me, well, I am a stay at home mom and enjoy a home business that works with my schedule.

A group of us have started working with Melaleuca, a Wellness Company. We are encouraging households to switch to safer, non-caustic household products that they can order direct from the company catalog. I don't need to do any inventory, I don't sell the products nor do I deal with billing and collecting which is absolutely wonderful. And the best part about it is that it is not an MLM!
