Michael, we are so happy that you agreed to present your poetry in our forum this month. We hope to make this 'one of the best' so far and we have already had some great ones. So, my friends get ready for some Romance, Lovc, Sharing, Caring, Friendships and Relationships.

Knowing Each Other
To a Lady who I have come to admire
with the time spent in all of our talks,
Strolling down the beach opening floodgates of
knowledge and emotions during these walks.
Helping each other thru all of the negative
memories of our past in timely little spurts,
Seeing each other speak full of emotions as
the talks grow longer about all of our past hurts.
Letting each other into our lives so each
other can see and feel the others pain,
Knowing when to stop and move in a different
direction where we can move towards and gain.
Watching the emotions change to positive
with the words spoken which cause a smile,
This is where our hearts open wide to let us share
our love which has not been shared for awhile.
Holding each other when we are in our
own homes so we do not feel out of place,
This is not because of being embarrassed about
being together but rather being in our own space.
Showing how we feel for each other
when our friends and others are around,
Just not quite all of the happiness, trust
and mutual respect we both have found.
So here is to you my newly found Soul mate
no matter what any other may actually say,
Today is for just us to celebrate what we have
together on this very special Valentine’s Day.

When You Love Someone
When you Love someone
with all of your Heart,
You forgive them for all of their
past mistakes from the start.
Helping them get over all
the suffering from the past ,
Knowing you have found
your partner in life at last.
Seeing the look in their eyes the
very first time and seeing them shine,
They sparkle and glimmer like
a glass of very tasty red wine.
Feeling the emotion building up
close to each other's heart of ice,
Both thinking it is all supposed to be
happy and full of sugar and spice.
Everyone knows you get what you put
into something from where you begin,
You start with Honesty from the start
which shows the power from within.
Looking forward to the days of
your lives of happiness ahead,
Feeling all of the Love that is shared
helping get rid of your pasts you all dread.
Accepting this from someone
else is the hardest to do as it is true,
Scared of being hurt and depression
setting in and turning your Heart blue.
When this happens do not push away
accept the emotion with open arms,
Return the warmth from your Heart
to the other with all of your charms.
Giving all your positive emotions of
Love and caring with one another,
Showing how you really feel deep
down inside towards each other.
Letting each other and everyone around
know how you feel giving the other hope,
Never giving up on each other or making
each other feel like they are hanging by a rope.
Feeling right then this is the right person
to be in your life and your Heart will not be burned,
Knowing where your Love is going and
being accepted while true Love is being returned.
This is when you have found the person you
may give your Heart with all your trust,
Where all that is shown to you and from you
is pure and true Love not someone else's Lust.

My Angel of Hope
The Beauty within you
shows in any light,
For any man’s eyes
your a glowing sight.
You bring to me all
I really need to live,
Everything around me
was all yours to give.
I feel the energy you
pass to me to have hope,
Showing me the way
from the sliding slopes.
Never promising of
things getting better,
Just showing me the
way to become a go-getter.
Filling me with the
love that I really need,
To show others how
to plant a positive seed.
Giving the courage to
move our lives ahead,
Moving away from the
negative things we dread.
You come around when
I am so down and out,
Picking me up when
I am ready to shout.
Showing me there is more
to life than wanting to die,
Just tell the truth instead
of wanting to tell a lie.
Letting me see your beauty
and colorful flying wings,
Guiding me down my
path where my Angel sings.
My Angel of Hope I have
finally met you once more,
You give me hope and
emotional support galore.

The Final Straw
I have had a Lesson to learn of trusting
Females that are born on a certain day,
There has been 3 of these turned to Lover's
that were fateful I really do have to say.
First one came when I was down
and out with nothing but doubt,
Being very honest to start off
with except she liked to pout.
Still being married with children
involved not wanting a Divorce,
Using the knowledge we gained
of a Daughter in trouble for no recourse.
This was what she would fall back
on and use them for an excuse.
Working together in the same trade when
I was at work the men she would peruse.
The Second one came to me when
I was happy and clearly see things,
When I met her all I could see was bright
green fields where my Angel sings.
She came into my life for
a brief one and half years,
When she left everything went
with her including the tears.
Being unfortunate of having the
same day of Birth as the one before,
Always being told by her that I
was trying to even a past score.
Number three came to me from
out of the blue and into my life,
Difference between her and the
first two was she was no man's wife.
Bringing with her all of her leftover
residual of past pain and sorrow,
Giving no hope of seeing what may
happen with us past tomorrow.
Always pushing and shoving
us totally emotionally apart,
This is what all Three of them
did right from the very start.
Pushing me away to another
Woman and into her arms,
Leaving me there to fall and
stay within her Magical charms.
With all of this that has happened
and made me feel at the end of my rope,
Thru all of this chaos and sorrow I have
been blessed to have found My Angel of Hope.
My Angel of Hope has given me the
strength to make the Negativity end,
Now to send out to the Ladies of the
past it is Love & Light I do send.
