Of Life and dreams

Sitting here at my computer,

Listening to Yanni play his tune,

I close my eyes and wonder,

As I’m soon transported too,

The scene that engulfs me

Is of me sitting alone on the beach

And listening to the waves that lash

As if to me to teach.

That life’s like this vast ocean,

Peaceful and turbulent at times,

But do we get tossed over

Or do we break thru and rise!

And as the tune I’m listening to

Comes to an end,

I realize that life’s what I make it,

Daring me to dream and take a stand.

 'Stuck on YOU '[new]
 
 One look at you
  it wasn't hard to know,
 you were the real thing,
 that I've been looking for.
 
 And as I drew close,
  just had to know more.
 Im stuck on you for always,
 to let go I dont know how!
 
 For since I've been close,
 I know whats inside
 you are the prettiest flower
  I'll ever come by,
 
 Your innocent sweetness,
 keeps me  drawing,
 will I have the will to leave?
 for its in you I am drowning,
 
 how do I get
  unstuck on you?
 will someone please tell me
 their point of view.

     INSEPARABLE
 
 Was the beauty of the flower,
 or the nectar deep inside,
 that drew the bee to hover,
 and wonder for a while.
 
 For it wasn't too long
 before he crashed in,
 to sip on the sweetest nectar
 that made his head spin.
 
 Now it looks as though,
  he never wants to leave,
 for this beautiful flower
 has so much to give.
 
 Boy ! dont they look pretty
 he's become part of her,
 that its hard to tell the difference
 the bee from the flower !!

BLUE MOON
 
 Shine on,  O'beautiful moon!
 Go find my love so true.
 And bring him close to me,
 Close as close can be.
 For now I am the half,
 I was never meant to be,
 I know he's out there somewhere,
 The One who completes me.
 
 So pretty moon do you see,
 the one who looks for me?
 Shine down your cooling light,
 Tell him its alright,
 That we will meet one day,
 And together we will sway,
 To the soft music of the wind,
 Our souls so entwined,
 You'll then shine down on us,
 and kiss us with your light.
 
 This magical moment will never pass,
 Cos' we were meant to be,
 And our love was meant to Last !

          are so  precious and oh so dear,
always treasure a loving friend,
          know always they're a God send.

Let your love first be compassionate,
          for in this there is a magnet,
that draws out the best in both,
         never ever ceasing to grow,

Grow into something stronger,
        beyond the realms of reason and wonder,
walking the path of understanding,
        respecting, upholding, encouraging, and listening.

Friendships built on these pure strengths,
        go on to weather any storm,
for true love  has bound them together
         and protected them from every harm.

So love and treasure every dear,
         that God has placed in your life so near,
tell them every day you care
         enough for them to say a prayer.

That all will be well and sunny today,
         and that you're there come what may !

Dont just say you love somebody,
for if you do, then show it !
When you say you love somebody,
Be sincere, they'll know it.

When you say you love somebody.
let it show in your smile,
and in all the little things you do,
that makes loving like this worthwhile.

Let love flow from the freedom of your soul,
not because you must, but because you  truly care,
for when love given out this way,
come's back multiplied manifold, and meant to stay.

Love is not just a  four letter word,
But something so much deeper and profound,
that sustains us in the hardest of times
and  thru life's unbearable storms.

To know and feel the truest love,
How fortunate that soul,
for he or she has been made complete,
its LOVE thats made them WHOLE  !

                             Hate and malice,
                             a deadly poison,
                            that messes with your mind.
                           Till your heart is hardened,
                           and in there no love you find.

                          Not even for yourself,
                          you'll begin to self-destruct
                         One day worse than the other,
                         Till its all just too much.

                         Hating all around you,
                         never knowing why,
                         no-one stops to say I love you,
                        And it makes you cry!

                        Why would anyone want,
                        this sadness for themselves
                        When all one has to do,
                        is think the opposite !

                       Fill your heart with LOVE instead,
                       and feel a peace decend
                      This ever flowing river,
                      comes from where there is no end.

                     To love & to be loved,
                    How wonderful that feeling,
                    it spreads like a wild fire,
                   and sets your life a reeling.

                   Ask those who know its taste,
                   They'll tell you 'but of course'
                   there is no better way
                  To get rid of hate n remorse!!

                 To the best Mom in the world,
                                  you had me when you were just a girl,
                 I know you loved me the best you could
                                  even when you didnt know how you should.

                 Through the years of toil and tears,
                                   our love for each other kept us near,
                 And as I grew I understood,
                                   why in the world  you were you !

                 Now that I'm a mom myself,
                                   all that you went thru makes all sense,
                  I  never made the mistakes you made,
                                   cos I had you to show me the way.

                    All the innocence and love you brought
                                   this one thing to me you have taught
                  To love from the purity of your heart,
                                   generosity abounding that set you apart.

                   I've learned much from your life,
                                   and now that your'e gone,

When do we stop to realize,

and all we have to do, is look inside!

And begin to work on the things that count,
A loving heart, a warm embrace,
and a smile that goes around.

So where do we start and with who?
I'd say the time is NOW
