The New Beginning
Yesterday things were hard They grew worse with every try Like a fragment of a crystal shard It left me wondering why.
Things go well and then they don't Life's moments try your patience and wit Who knows how high the mountain's point Or how deep the bottomless pit.
When you feel you begin to fall Remember when You climbed highest When you hear the sadness call It is then that the spirit is strongest.
Who can fathom life's commence With all the facets of the diamonds light One is sure to catch you when You fall into a fruitless fight.
Just as wide and twice as deep Is the meaning of the soul It is only when you fall and weep That you are pronounced whole.
