How true. But it needs a bit of expansion.

Not only do we not always know what it is that we're trying to achieve even when we do know we don't always know HOW to achieve it.

Therefor it's no surprise to me that most of the very successful people in all walks of life (business, sports, education, religion ... the list goes on and on) have coaches, advisers and mentors. They put us on the right track when we stumble, get stuck or simply lose our way.

I do like that quote!  Peter put a spin on it too.  I am not sure, but I think we could go out and find a few who knew what they wanted, and figured out how to get it.  There is just something about the burning desire that lends us the know-ho when we need it.
