Okay... Here's the deal...

A friend of mine turned me on to a new traffic generator, called ExitExplosion. Now, we all know how I feel about traffic exchanges of the surfing for traffic variety, but this is different than those programs. It has piqued my interest.

Since it's been a while since my last product review, I decided, What the heck... Let's join and give it a test run. So, that's what I've done. Now, in order for this to work, I need to have others check it out with me.

So, what do you say...? Would you care to help me give this program a test drive and see if it really works? I'd like to get your feedback on it, for the review I am going to write. I need honest comments and feedback, not some hypie affiliate marketer stuff, and I trust you to give me your honest opinion.

I'll give you a quick rundown of how it works...

1. First, you install some simple little code on your website, which detects when people are LEAVING your site, and shows them an ad for someone else's site.

It does't affect your site at all, because it is only shown to people who are leaving.

2. Then, you earn "credits" when this happens, and your "credits" are spent showing your ad to other people who are leaving other people's websites!

3. They have figured out a way to mathematically multilpy your credits exponentially. You're going to have to read the site for the details on this, since I just don't feel like re-iterating it here.

So far, it looks like it could be effective, but I want to test it. So what do you say...? Are you in?

All it does is take the traffic that was already leaving your site, and put it to some good use (namely, getting you MORE traffic, which then gets your MORE credits, etc, etc.).

But, enough of me talking. Just try it for yourself, and let me know what you think.

Sounds a bit interesting, BUT I am wondering what would happen if I want them to click on one of my links to another of MY sites or they start to type in a URL or their mouse moves too quickly and makes that darn pop up happen too early in the game, would it distract people from staying on MY sites? That's an excellent question. Let's test it out. Go to http://www.trinaschiller.ws and try to navigate within my site. Let me know what happens.

Okay, Trina here is the scoop. You appear to only have that code on your first page, therefore I did not get the exit pop up to happen anywhere else except on your home page. But, on the home page, when I click on the 'Buy Now' button, it DOES go to the shopping cart page, BUT here is where things get 'nasty'. When I click on the back arrow and as soon as I wave my mouse back down across the page on your original site - THE POPUP happens. True, that anyone that really wants to come back to your site, can hit that X delete button in the corner of the pop up, BUT the question remains, will it distract from your Website and what you are trying to promote i.e. disturbing that person's thoughts at the time. It could be left, as it would depend on whether it bothers the particular person using it or not, BUT if that happens on every page, it could get a bit annoying or even if they want to come back and read something on your home page and go back again to your shopping cart it could be a big bother. I am sure that is clear as mud. But, they do encourage you to put the code on all of your pages, as I recall. What do YOU think? Answers P.S. It is a great site and I applaud you for coming out and exposing your own life so that you can help others. Been there - done that!

I agree, it could get annoying. I would not put it on all my pages any more than I would start spamming people. I would think that one page is enough per web site. Good point.

Thanx for checking it out.
