It is with great pleasure, that we bring to you, our 2nd edition of  FOCUSBIZ.
 
The objective of this weekly feature is to bring into
 focus one hardworking marketeer, and highlight
 them and their business, and what makes them successful.
 
This week, our feature shows us a different aspect of
advertising, how well it can work, and the benefits of it. Let us welcome our friend in FOCUS
 
                          JOE BUCCHERI

              THE TGAMM FM RADIO         
 
First, let me thank you for this golden opportunity to present our radio station to the many subscribers of this forum. Radio has always been seen in the market place as both an ad agency and a viable vehicle from which to promote ones products, and or services. Here on  line, we are also able to join some of the Internet programs offered and in doing so, use the services our of News affiliate, BCN News to initiate their news gathering skills to investigate the credibility of those programs and to see if they really can do what they claim.
 
So, with that said, I can take your first question.
 

FOCUSBIZ: How long have you been involved with your current business & very briefly tell us what motivates you to promote it?

 

Joe: I’ve been a broadcaster now for over 3 decades. I’ve held numerous positions of management over that time period to include Program Director, Music Director and General Manger where I managed a staff of over 35 talented people, both on the air and off.

Presently, I am the CEO and member of the Board of Directors to three global concerns. One of course is American Media International. This is the same company that owns BCN news and TGAMM FM, our on line radio facility. Just last week I was humbled by being named acting director to The Stella Maris Apostleship of the Sea. This is a non-profit organization that provides on land services to seafarers from all over the globe.

 

About my position with TGAMM and what motivates me, that would be arriving each day to take part in the daily operation of the radio station at TGAMM where I am still able to find the time to host many of our radio shows, assist our music director in selecting music that is requested for airplay and to coordinate with our sale manager, John Cary, in the selection process of our clients, creating on line and off line promotional campaigns for those clients and at the same time, develop on line tools of the trade to better serve the internet community.

 

FOCUSBIZ: Since when have you been making money?

 

Well, I can honestly say that this would be my entire career, since 1969. However, TGAMM has been on the Internet now for almost 18 months and though it was slow going at first, which is what we expected; we are in the black now and our revenues are growing everyday.

 

FOCUSBIZ : Are those who joined under you making money too?

Joe: TGAMM has what we developed as TEAM TGAMM. This is comprised of many on line programs that we join and also actively promote in house. As an example, there MoneyBlocks, which is doing well for its members, Jerky Direct is another that we are assisting and from all indications from the various managers working the program, and in having the radio station doing their part within that process, many are making an income. This is but one global team effort that originates from right here inside ALP and as I stated, is doing extremely well for its members.

 

The other business persons who are making money through TGAMM FM would be our various paying clients; those that advertise with us. By investing their ad budgets with TGAMM, we can place their products and services in front of our 3.5 million subscribers, those who have asked us over the past 18 months to send to them via email and snail mail,  those offerings that are well within what they seek in goods and services. This is where we have a golden opportunity to promote our clients, both on line and off. We also offer banner ad placement on our front page, www.tgamm.com .

 

You see, here on line, when you invest time and energy with those free ad site, you are hoping and praying that somehow, hundreds of people are scrolling down the page and will see your ad. Not so with TGAMM as ours is, as I have said many times, a captive audience. Of course, we as a credible media outlet would be less than honest to tell a client that we guarentee that our listeners and subscribers will rush right out or grab what they offer immediately. No one can say that, nor should anyone believe such claims should that ever be part of a sales pitch. However, I can tell you that 95% of our clients have come back to renew their contracts with us because the overal responce was favorable.

 

As one example within the many campaigns we can offer, the owner of Bird Essential’s has an account with TGMM, and here at ALP as well. We place their banner ad on many of our web pages, place ads in community news papers as part of the ad campaign and send out their link to all of our subscribers on line once a week. Normally, that would cost a client thousands of dollars. Having entered one of our contests recently, the owner of this company will be promoted by TGAMM for the remainder of the year at a very special rate.    

FOCUSBIZ: How many members have joined you so far?

Joe: As I mentioned earlier, we have 3.5 million subscribers to TGAMM FM RADIO.

FOCUSBIZ: Are they all from Adlandpro?

Joe: No. The last survey showed over 1800 members of ALP tuning into TGAMM from time to time. That is largely in part due to the diligent efforts of our Internet Business Manager, Nancy Herring who has been on board with us now several months and doing an excellent job I might add. Plus, we now have Rick and Marilyn Martin joining us and in a few weeks, they will be offering TGAMM'S newest feature.

As you may have heard, we seek to gain 1,000 people on our friends list here at ALP, we have less than 150 friends needed to accomplish this task and prior to July 30,2007.

Overall, our listener base has been noted as being a turn over of " 65 people tuning in every quarter hour."

When you multiply that by four, you can see how that can be a positive force in on air advertising for your business.

 

FOCUSBIZ: Joe thank you for taking part in this forum and sharing with us. Is there anything else you would like to add?

 

Joe: Around this time last year, my associates and I were traveling to our Nations Capital,  Washington, DC,  to take part in hearings about the many changes coming to the internet, those that would help protect the children from sexual predators, give relief to those who fell victim to internet scams, give real jail time to those who use the Internet to commit those crimes, and to try and convince Internet providers that pornography in any form on the Internet is unacceptable. Had you invested in my LITTLE BLUE BOOK, you would have read about this and other subjects directly related to the changes coming to the world wide web and how our world leaders are all on the same page, as it were, about the need for such changes. One way to accomplish this is by one company buying up other Internet businesses and then, cleaning house, so to speak. I am sure that many have heard about how MYSPACE was asked to comply with an investigation to find out the identity of those who are sexual predators and who had accounts with MYSPACE. Once again, this is that house cleaning going on and that will continue over the next several years. One should not see this as an intrusion into our privacy, rather, a way of guaranteeing that our children inherit a safe and sane environment, both on line and off.  There is no reason why ones human dignity can not be protected when clicking on that mouse.
