Thank you for your deep and beautiful post.  The first time I heard the story of the crucifixion as a little girl, I became griefstricken.  I could not imagine a darker day. 

Imagine Mary, His mother; what she felt as she watched her Son die on the cross in the way He did.  She must have been overcome with pain.

I have one son also.  I cannot imagine the grief.
