Laura Ingalls Wilder (February 7, 1867 – February 10, 1957) was an American author. She wrote a series of historical fiction books for children based on her childhood in a pioneer family. Her best-known book is Little House on the Prairie.

I have enjoyed this story. Laura Ingalls Wilder had a great strength to live her daily, common women`s life and to decorate it with unusual spirit. I`ve learned of her and my honor for her life is based on her wholeness. She has power to find things that we can categorize as `fiction`. But ... All what one ever write we can call  Biography. And also so called fiction. She has a great Biography and great courage to write it.

Wow!  This is a wonderful choice for Women of Courage.  My family knows of Laura only through the television show Little House on the Prairie.  It is a great show, but after reading the bio for this feature, I realize there are more wonderful things to learn about this great lady.  I shall share this with the family as usual.
