This is a scam I may have posted about in one of my earlier threads. It seems it is being recycled because it was on our local news the other night.

Beware of these savvy telemarketers,they want to trap you!

Someone is calling telling "You" that you were chosen for jury duty. They may seem legit and business like at the time although they are fishing for information.

Just a friendly reinder to never give out your info over the phone.

Usually if you were chosen for jury duty they will mail you a document from the courts. If for some reason they do call they would never ask for your personal information.

Hi Eileen: Sure do appreciate folks reminding people of the on line AND off line scams! There are getting to be more and more elderly persons and some are more vulnerable to scams. They remember the "old days" when you could believe most of what you heard. As many times as I have warned my own mother about phone scams she was almost taken too. Thank goodness my sister happened to be there visiting. Have a great day!

I don't worry so much about this type of thing with myself or my children, but I do with my Mom. She is so gullible when it comes to stuff like this.
