This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.

Hi Chris. My friend got a virus last week that destroyed the boot sector

of his hard drive in his laptop. I don't know if this is the one but I had to

reformat the disk 4 times to get rid of it. It made scrambled eggs out

of the disk. He doesn't remember opening an attatchment.

Hi, Chris, Sorry, but this is a complete hoax and has been around for a couple of years. It is as well, however, for your readers to be aware that opening any attachment that they are not expecting to receive can invite disaster. (As a bit of extra information, I was told, when I first saw this warning, that it (the warning) was designed to crash some of the smaller servers by flooding them with more traffic than they could handle.)

Thanks for your post and to be honest I wasn't sure if this was real or not. So because I could not be certain and the fact it was sent to me by a realiable source I decided to share it just in case.

I guess it alerts us all to the fact of checking before we open any unknown mail.
