Let me introduce the most awesome group of team mates anyone could ever have! Not only are they my very good friends, but I also have the pleasure of working with them to bring this forum to all of you, each and every week;

Here are the qualifications that will be used in the selection of each honoree. People that are selected will be recognized based on:

2. Must be willing to help others, and treat people in a kindly manner.

3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.

4. Must be a positive role model, and set a good example

5. Must be professional, avoids negativity, and promotes success through faith and hard work

The name Tammy is a feminine variation of the Thomas [Θωμάς] wich the is Greek form of the Aramaic name Te'oma which meant "twin". The Greek word for twins is "dydimos"

Here is TAMI'S bio;

HEY Adlanders, It is Tami Brooks from Naples, FL. Some of you may have already seen my name, face or know of my website www.SoyScents.net.

I was just shocked when I saw the message stating I had been picked for the Parade of Stars, I hadn’t looked at it too much as I am not real computer literate, but I do try to get around the best I can. When I was told I had to write a bio I thought I would have pages of things, but I thought just a bit and wrote down what is important to me…family and friends and drew my life out as condensed as I possibly could do. I am a talker, but I guess not much of a writer. I asked my husband to tell me what he thought, and he said, I did okay so here it goes.

I am just a little mid western girl born and raised in Topeka, KS…(and YES, I do know Dorothy and Toto, but have not walked down the yellow brick road, ours are mainly red like everyone else’s) Sorry, got off track thinking of all the tornados there that I don’t miss anymore. I grew up in Topeka and went to Topeka High School, go Trojans.

I have 4 siblings. 3 sisters and 1 brother (poor guy). I am the baby of the family and of course I was somewhat spoiled, although my closest sibling in age is 7 years older than me and the furthest is 11 years older..maybe I was an accident, do you think? My parents tell me differently. So as you can tell I am from a big family and love it. All of THEM still live in KS and I am the only one in FL.

One of my first jobs was working at Schlotzsky’s and man is their bread and sandwiches wonderful. I then progressed onto working with the hearing impaired and I miss it greatly and wish I would have never gotten out of that field.

I went to West Side Christian church were I found my husband, Darrin, of 20 years now. We grew up in the church together not really thinking much of each other, then one day he just asked me out and as they say the rest is history.

He is a wonderful man and a great father to our 14 year old daughter Makayla, She is truly my pride and joy and we love her so much. She is our one and only child. But we do have 3 dogs- 2 poodles, Niki and Buddy and our red doxie Ginger, they are a big part of our family too.

We have lived in Naples, FL for 14 years now and have really started fixing up our house as we now know this is where we are wanting to stay, as it is a central location to everything we need.

I joined Adlandpro in January 2006 after looking up “free websites” as I knew I needed to get my business off the ground. Now mind you, as I stated before, I am not real computer literate, but Adlandpro has made it easy for me as I do still work a full time job and do the candle business in the evenings and on the weekends.

I just did a craft show and currently have 2 Fund Raisers going on currently. I would love to make this a full time business and eventually I too will be “doing what I want, when I want, and how I want! It is CANDLE SEASON, great gift giving ideas, quick and easy!!
