Hello Chris and Friends

    Thank you Chris, for sharing this most touching message with us. This man learned a lesson about life at a perfect time. The perfect time to help someone else not make the same mistake.

    I never really got to know my father much untill the last couple of years of his life. One weekend, I went and picked up my 10 year son and then we went to get my father out of a rehab hospital where he was recovering from a severe burn. We spent the weekend together at my house and then on Sunday, I took them both back home. I never saw my father alive again. He passed on the following Saturday. At the funeral my son Billy said to me. " You know Dad, I am really glad that we got to spend some time with Grandpa last week. We really never did get to spend any time together before. I'm really glad I got to know Grandpa a little bit. "

   From Billy, I have learned a most important lesson about life and I will make sure that I always offer him the opportunity to get to know me a little bit. Yes, a little bit more every chance I get.
