How incredible it is that only a very short time ago I was able to realize that you can only succeed, and therefore be happy, when you like your job or occupation, and conversely that you can never succeed, nor can you ever be happy, if you hate it. I did not think much of it afterwards; I just applied myself to the task of working only at what I really liked, and never more at what I did not. Only now, on reading your quote for today, can I more clearly see the reason why it should be that way.
