Panda Pointer-Forums --participation produces dollars

Forums are a useful tools as they produce business friends and eventually big bucks. >they help you learn about different aspects of running an on line business., >you will find experienced members willing to share their knowledge. >in your signature line, you are free to advertise your business. >people will learn to know you, what your values are, how you run your business, how you relate to people etc. Make a friend. HOWEVER, experienced posters expect you to follow some basic posting rules. Adlandpro has some guidelines at: http://www.adlandpro.com/Opt-In-List/Archives/Community/7.htm Here are some other common sense ideas that may help you make good forums and good posts. These are the authors suggestions and not the administration. 1. Posting in caps is like internet shouting. It is difficult to read and English Second Language people will be at a disadvantage. 2. Fewer ideas will be read by those visiting. Long posts, the reader may tire and not read it all. (Make more than one forum if necessary). 3. Break into paragraphs. Visually handicapped as well as all readers will appreciate this. 4. Before posting, have something to say. Don't post just to get your ad on as you will actually turn people off. 5. Some forums require that you post a certain number of times before posting ads. That is not the case with Adlandpro, but do learn the rules of any forum before posting. 6. Don't go to a forum to cause trouble, or add fuel to a fire. You will lose many friends that way. a Helpful hint: Type your forum or post on your computer writing tool, check for spelling errors and cut and paste. You can edit and rewrite so easy. 7. If you make a serious mistake or post twice, e-mail the forum owner and they can fix for you. The owner will appreciate your effort and you will look better in the eyes of all the readers. 8. Each time you make a forum, you will be the greatest benefactor. Having to find and organize information, write and correct, and then manage the forum will teach you many things.

Jennifer, Thanks for stopping in. If you learned just one thing, its worth it. I learned just from making the forum. Maybe I should add that to my original list. (That I did. It is the 8th point on the list)

Hi Linda, Thanks for the compliment. All my friends list were invited. We can offer ideas but they have to open the invitation. I am not one to send multiple invitations. Build a field and they will come. Here's hoping someone gains information from this forum.
