Hello Cheri, I never heard of chiggers until I came to the south. One day I decided to walk barefoot through the grass. Lots of chiggers came out to welcome me! And about Larry, well . . . bless his heart.

LOL Larry, why am I not surprised by either statement? (I couldn't resist that, sorry. You know I don't mean it.) Luella, sonot being a native Southerner, do you know that they don't just bite, they crawl in and stay awhile? I know, TMI. Scott, Larry, stop scratching, it only encourages them. Paint the bite with clear nail polish. That smothers them and they stop itching. May be an old wives' tale, but as I recall it was effective. Cheri
