Hi Larry This is a subject I can help you with. You can find new and used ones at e-bay also go to local metal detector store and sometimes they have used ones also. I have two and my brother has four that he rotates with.. I got a used Garrett in January. It is really nice and I just love it. My brother has all Whites. Those are the most common and the best brands I think. Stay away from the Wal-Mart and K-mart cheapies. If you cant find a local dealer let me know and I can find some numbers for you.
