RE: A Prayer From Heaven - For Mother's Day
6/9/2015 7:47:03 PM
My mother crossed over on the 6th of June last year. She gave my sibling a hard time in the maintenance of her blood/sugar. She loathed needle pricks. She responded better to home health professionals, but he did not like routine visitors in the house. When the health professionals got her stable, he would dismiss them. She lived a sparky life for 80 of her 82 years. She and I was in bad health (I was suffering chronic digestive issues for over a dozen years~ two surgeries, thyroid [2010] and gall bladder removal [2013] blessed me with stellar relief ). As my health improved, mother continued to diminish. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer [November 2013] then passed 7 months later. She was suffering in her latter two years and I am thankful Abba Father gave her relief from suffering. This is the 1st Mother's Day without Mommy in the flesh. I am not sad for she gave me a lifetime of memories that I will cherish for the balance of my Life :)

Hi Jan,

I'm sorry for your loss, however, at the same time I rejoice with you that your Mother has found Eternal Rest with our Father and will not have to endure any further suffering. My Mother's final years were much the same as yours. Once she was diagnosed with Diabetes while she was in her 50's, it was a downhill battle from then on with numerous health problems until she passed away at 68. I also can understand your feelings on spending your first year without her. Mother's been with our Lord since 1989, and the memory of her smile and the sound of her voice singing hymns around the house are still as fresh as they were when she first crossed over. I would like to share another Poem in honor of our Mothers.

The Lord saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you
And whispered, ‘Come with me’

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Your beautiful smile at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove
He always takes the best.

It’s lonesome here without you
We miss you more each day.
Our lives just aren’t the same
Ever since you went away.

When days are sad and lonely
And everything goes wrong
We hear you gently whisper,
‘Cheer up and carry on.’

Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
‘Don’t cry, I’m in God’s keeping,
And we’ll meet again someday.’

If you'll click on the click on the Picture below, you can enjoy "I Can Only Imagine", by Mercy Me. This is one of my favorite songs to sing whenever I sing at Services.

Have A Blessed Week,

Phil

Thank you so much for this poem, I want to include this with my bio submission. My siblings has planned a 3-day tribute for our mother, in August on her birthday. We are submitting bios to the program booklet.

Hi Jan,

You more than welcome to use the Poem with your Bio submission. Sounds like a wonderful idea. I'm not sure exactly where I first heard this, after all Mother passed away back in 1989, but I found it again on an Australian funeral site and no copyright was claimed, at least not, anywhere that I found when I searched.

Enjoy your trip with your Siblings my Friend.

Have A Peaceful Evening,

Phil

We suffered well

This song is for US

"The Way That You Love Me"

Sorry about that. I don't need another tragedy (No)
Just to realize how much I need (Hey)
See I don't need a girl to break my heart (No)
Just to realize where true love starts (Yea)

I've been so convinced lately
You're the only thing I see (Oh)

You've got my full attention
You've got my full attention
Seek You first, then I'll find, everything I've wanted
You've got my full attention (Hey)

I've seen rain, it's been dark
I've felt pain, got these scars
Sometimes, it's all I can remember
Where's the sun? Give me light
Got to be more to this life
I can't lie, it's been colder than December
But when it comes to survival
There's only one friend that I know
That I can truly depend on, I know

The way that You love me
The way that You love me
Is everything I need
Don't ever let me go

The way that You told me
That You will always be
Everything I need
Don't ever let me go
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever, don't ever)
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever, don't ever)
The way that You love me
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever)

Bound to break, lose my mind
Wanna scream, wanna cry
Help me Father, said I need You now more than ever, yeah
Cuz I'm contemplating, turning back
I feel like saying it's a wrap
But I can't handle all of that
So I surrender, Lord

Cuz when it comes to survival
You're the one friend that I know
That I can truly depend on, I know, I know

The way that You love me
The way that You love me
Is everything I need
Don't ever let me go

The way that You told me
That You will always be
Everything I need
Don't ever let me go
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever, don't ever)
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever, don't ever)
The way that You love me
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever)

See if you've been through what I've been through
You know exactly what God can do
See that's the reason I sing this tune
Don't ever let me go

See if you've been through what I've been through
You know exactly what God can do
See that's the reason I sing this tune
Don't ever let me go

The way that You love me
The way that You love me
Is everything I need
Don't ever let me go
The way that You told me
That You will always be
Everything I need

Don't ever let me go (no no no)
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever, don't ever)
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever, don't ever)
The way that You love me
Don't ever let me go (Don't ever)

I want You forever
I need You forever
Stay with me forever (Don't ever, don't ever, don't ever)
Truth is (Ooo I really need You)
Every hour (So don't ever)
(Don't ever, don't ever, don't ever)
The way that You love me
Don't ever let me go.
