I often find myself coaching people on the attributes of having something in view which "pulls you" forward to action rather than looking at the things that you avoid or reject, goals that "push you from behind".
The latter is likely to set you up for yet more resistance to action.
The former is usually much more inspiring and more likely to have you taking action consistently.
It's the ol' - "Whatever you focus on WILL expand".
