BREAKING: Peaceful Steinle Protest Becomes Dangerous As Police Bow To Antifa Demands

Posted by | Dec 4, 2017 |

Richard Spencer, pictured with the scarf, is credited with coining the term Alt-Right.

Antifa and the Alt-Right had a standoff in front of the White House in the wake of the Kate Steinle murder verdict. An illegal alien shot, and killed, Kate Steinle in the back as she walked down San Francisco’s Pier 14 with her father. Zarate, the killer, was a seven-time felon, who has previously been deported from the United States five times.

San Francisco, the sanctuary city Zarate was tried in, does not comply with federal immigration authorities, and has policies to protect illegal aliens at the expense of Americans.

The protest in Washington D.C. drew two opposing factions, the Alt-Right, and Antifa. The Alt-Right had approximately 25 members in attendance while Antifa had approximately 50. The two groups were separated by police who formed a line between them. This was a stark contrast to the way law enforcement behaved at a Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville where officers stood down and allowed mayhem to ensue.

The clash in Washington D.C. was brief. Members of the Alt-Right chanted “Build Kate’s wall,” referring to a Trump campaign promise to build a “big beautiful wall” on our southern border, which may have prevented Zarate from entering into the country. Speakers from the Alt-right included, Mathew Heimbach, Mike Enoch and Richard Spencer. Antifa chanted in return “No Nazi’s, No KKK, No Fascist U.S.A.” and “Off our streets Nazi scum.” The protest was relatively short and concluded peacefully with each party going their separate ways.

Antifa is a group of radical left wing anti-free speech activist who often resort to violence to promote their cause and shut down free speech. Antifa stands for anti-fascist, and this group advocates for shutting down speakers they believe are engaged in “hate speech”, a term Antifa define as views and ideas they finds offensive. The activist group advocates for government censorship of speech as a cornerstone for its policy objectives.

Antifa often dress in all black and cover their faces with masks, they are sometimes referred to as the “black bloc.” A Diablo Valley College Professor and Antifa member, Eric Clanton, smashed a peaceful protestor in the head with a bike lock when the protestor voiced opinions contrary to Clanton’s beliefs.

At University of California Berkeley, Antifa smashed windows and set fires when Milo Yiannopoulos was holding a speech on campus. The same university spent almost 600,000$ on security when another speaker, Ben Shapiro, was invited to come speak to conservatives on campus. Neither Shapiro nor Yiannopoulos are associated with the Alt-right.

This is the typical uniform of Antifa, the anti-free speech activist group. This chaos is their reaction to Milo Yiannopoulos speaking at University of California Berkeley.

The Alt-Right is an activist group that promotes the interests of whites in America, although similar groups have been spawned across Europe as well. The group advocates for policies such as freedom of association for Americans and strict immigration policies. Richard Spencer is considered a leader of the movement and credited with coining the term Alt-Right. Its members hold a wide variety of political views, however, all of them agree on the need to promote white interest and advocate for some form of white nationalism in the United States.

The Alt-Right are often well dressed during rallies donning suits, polos and other variations of more formal attire. They held a famous event in Virginia the night before the Unite the Right Rally, hundreds gathered with tiki torches and marched on the University of Virginia to protest the removal of a Thomas Jefferson Statue. They chanted slogans such as “One people, One Nation, End Immigration,” “You will not replace us,” and “Blood and soil.”

This is an Alt-Right protest against the removal of a Thomas Jefferson statue. Many of the marchers wore white polos and khakis.

Antifa has a long history of violence and anti-free speech activism in the United States. A petition on the WhiteHouse.gov, government website, was created to get the Trump administration to “Formally recognize Antifa as a terrorist organization.” 365,498 Americans signed the petition, well beyond the goal of 100,000 needed by September 16, 2017.

A petition was also added to the government website change.org, asking congress to declare the Alt-Right a terrorist organization. In total the petition has gathered 1500 signatures, which is far short of its modest goal of 2500. The petition also calls for members of the Alt-Right to be stripped of their freedom of speech.

The not guilty murder verdict of an illegal alien who shot Kate Steinle has caused the gap between the two political parties to widen as tensions rise.

2 missing girls found in Utah; self-proclaimed “prophet” in custody

Two young sisters who were believed to be with a religious sect leader in Utah have been found and are safe. An amber alert had been issued for 8-year-old Dinah and 4-year-old Hattie Coltharp. CBS DENVER

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Two young sisters who were believed to be with a religious sect leader in Utah have been found and are safe, CBS Denver reports.

The girls, 4-year-old Hatti and 8-year-old Dina, were found alone in a building outside the town of Lund on Monday night.

Their grandfather, Steve Sobel, confirmed the news to CBS Denver later that night. He said the girls were found in a "storage receptacle."

A local reporter tweeted that the girls were "safe but very cold."

Sheriff's Department in Iron County Utah said it was doubtful the children would have survived the night.

The suspect, Samuel Shaffer, was taken into custody. Their father, John Coltharp, was already in custody.

The girls were transferred to a local hospital for medical evaluations, their grandfather told CBS Denver.

He said it wasn't clear how soon the girls would be able to see their mother.

Their mother, Micha Coltharp, said the two girls and their two brothers disappeared on Sept. 13. They were believed to have been taken by their father, John Coltharp.

Micha Coltharp had legal custody of the children after a recent divorce.

The family feared that John Coltharp had given the children to Shaffer.

Shaffer is a self-proclaimed "prophet." The family says he and Coltharp were involved in cult-like activities.

Micha Coltharp said the two boys were found during a raid of a suspected polygamist compound in Iron County, Utah.

The boys were with their father's parents. An Amber Alert was issued for the two girls but was canceled Monday night.

Micha Coltharp talked to CBS Denver after her two boys have been recovered, but while her two daughters were still missing.

"I'm so unbelievably happy to talk to my boys and they are okay and so sorry for my girls and it's so sad they are suffering and they don't have each other or their parents," she told the station.

She said they had been living in a restored storage shed that had a window.

A tip was supplied that led to the raid.

U.S. MILITARY CONDUCTS SIMULATED BOMBING DRILLS WITH B-1B SUPERSONIC JET OVER KOREAN PENINSULA

BY

The U.S. Air Force has deployed one of its B-1B Lancer strategic bomber aircraft as part of coordinated military drills with South Korea that North Korea denounced as provocations.

The supersonic jet departed from its base in the U.S. territory of Guam before joining two Japanese F-15 fighters and then took part in military drills on the Korean Peninsula along with Americans and South Korean fighter jets, Bloomberg reported.

The B-1B bomber and F-22 Raptors conducted simulated bombing drills, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported, quoting a statement from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, adding that several American F-35 stealth jets and F-16 fighters and South Korean F-15Ks and KF-16s joined the exercise at the Pilsung firing range in the northeastern Gangwon province.

"Through the exercise, the South Korean and U.S. air forces have demonstrated the alliance's strong will and capability for strong retaliation against North Korea's nuclear and missile threats," the South Korean military said in the statement, adding that the exercise also improved the two air forces’ readiness to deploy “a rapid response force.”

The exercise was part of five-day-long air force annual exercise known as Vigilant Ace that started Monday in which 230 aircrafts are taking part in simulated strikes over South Korea.

A U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jet takes off as part of a joint aerial drills called "Vigilant Ace" between the U.S. and South Korea at the Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek on December 6. The two countries kicked off their largest ever joint air exercise on Monday.KIM HONG-JI/AFP/GETTY IMAGES

North Korea condemned the exercises, planned before Pyongyang tested a new, more powerful intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) in a launch on November 29,as pushing the peninsula “to the brink of nuclear war.” The country threatened to retaliate against the drills, as an article in the state-controlled news agency KCNA reported it would consider “the highest-level hard-line countermeasure in history.”

An article in North Korea's ruling party’s mouthpiece Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday accused the U.S. of trying to provoke a second Korean war and planning a pre-emptive strike. “It is a trite method employed by aggressors to mount a sudden preemptive attack while pretending to conduct war drills,” the article said.

North Korean foreign minister Ri Yong Ho said in September the country reserved the right to shoot down U.S. B-1B bombers—which no longer carry nuclear weapons, despite North Korea's claims to the contrary—even if these weren’t entering the North Korean airspace. This threat came in retaliation for President Donald Trump’s speech at the U.N. General Assembly in which he threatened to “totally destroy” North Korea, which the country branded a “declaration of war.”

U.N. political affairs chief Jeffrey Feltman arrived in Pyongyang for a four-day visit Tuesday, the first time a high-ranking U.N. official visited the country since 2012. Feltman held talks with deputy foreign minister Pak Myong Gun on Wednesday. The U.N. did not offer detail as to the subject of the talks, but Feltman is expected to also meet foreign minister Ri and U.N. staff based in the country, the Associated Press reported.

WND EXCLUSIVE
ASTRONOMICAL LOSS OF LIFE IN POTENTIAL U.S. WAR WITH N. KOREA

'It is a race because he's getting closer and closer, and there's not much time left'

Published: 2 days ago.
Updated: 12/05/2017 at 9:34 PM

Buried somewhere between the latest Washington sex scandals and stern-faced journalists asking about Russian “collusion” in last year’s election is the very real possibility that the U.S. could be heading toward war with a nuclear-armed North Korea.

It’s the war nobody seems to want to talk about, let alone fight.

But there may not be any viable options to avoid getting into a real live shooting war with North Korea and its brassy, baby-faced dictator.

With each new ballistic test, Kim Jong-Un appears to gain a level of credibility to back up his seemingly insane threats against a world superpower no longer headed not by the appeasement-driven Barack Obama but a far more unpredictable Donald Trump.

On Nov. 28, the communist state successfully tested a long-range missile launch that could reach any point within the continental United States, including Washington, D.C.

Japan announced it will be upgrading its missile defense systems in 2018 to compensate for North Korea’s improved missile technology. Nikkei Asian Review reported that many analysts believe Japan’s current system could have trouble dealing with high-powered missiles launched at a more lofted trajectory, a method that sacrifices range for height and a speedy descent.

Over the weekend, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., warned American citizens living in South Korea that now is a good time to get out.

“We’re getting close to military conflict because North Korea is marching toward marrying up the technology of an ICBM with a nuclear weapon on top that can not only get to America, but deliver the weapon. We’re running out of time,” Graham said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

In a recent interview with the BBC, U.S. Army Korean veteran David Maxwell and former Pentagon analyst Bruce Bechtol described what a major war on the Korean peninsula would look like.

“We will see a horrible loss of human life. Probably 300,000 to 400,000 in the first week, civilian and military,” they said. “Probably over 2 million by the time three weeks is up.”

Watch stunning description of what war with North Korea would look like by two retired military analysts:

In the first hours, there would literally be hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds and rockets fired to the South, many of them into Seoul, the military experts said.

With its reserve forces of some 6 million, North Korea is the sixth largest army in the world.

But the North Koreans only have about a two- to three-week supply of food, ammunition, fuel, etc. So all of Kim’s military goals would have to be met within that small window.

“Because after that, they’re living off the land,” Bechtol said.

Graham said the U.S. would go to war against North Korea if it had to.

“I hope the regime understands that if President Trump has to pick between destroying the North Korean regime and the American homeland, he’s going to destroy the regime,” Graham said hours after the Nov. 28 missile test. “I hope China understands that also.”

Not much time left

H.R. McMaster, the president’s national security adviser, said the threat of armed conflict is real.

“I think it’s increasing every day, which means we are in a race, really, not just us but all of our allies,” McMaster told Brett Baier at the Reagan National Defense Forum Saturday. “China has tremendous coercive power over North Korea — you can’t shoot a missile without fuel, right? So there are ways to address this problem short of armed conflict, but it is a race because he’s getting closer and closer, and there’s not much time left.”

Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, told an emergency Security Council meeting that North Korea is “begging for war,” and she called for “the strongest possible measures.”

In an op-ed for the Hill, retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Gregory Keeley said Kim’s latest test of the Hwasong-15 illustrates how far his program has evolved and developed since 2005, when his father conducted a failed launch, and how the newest technological surges are improving Kim’s capability and threat.

“The most recent test was a significant improvement on the launch just eight weeks prior — flying farther, higher and faster,” he wrote. “This improvement curve, if maintained, will be impossible to curtail without direct kinetic engagement on the peninsula.”

Beware Iran

As Keeley points out, the rogue state’s ICBM tests are not only intended to ratchet up tensions with Washington. Kim is looking to sell his technology to other rogue states. There are no shortages of Islamic states that might like to purchase his wares.

Countries that field North Korean-made missiles, components and technology include Pakistan, Egypt, Syria and Yemen. Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi, prior to his downfall, purchased North Korean missile plans and parts.

Michele Bachmann, former congresswoman from Minnesota, said it would be a mistake not to factor in Iran as a key driver of the U.S.-North Korean crisis.

“The will of the leader of North Korea to go to war against the U.S. or to use missiles against the U.S. must be broken,” Bachmann told WND. “However, Iran is likely using the North Korean leader as both a proxy for war against the U.S. and a distraction.”

Iran would like nothing more than to divert U.S. attention to dealing with North Korea while Iran solidifies and enables its hostile nuclear missile program, she said.

H.R. McMaster, told Fox News , “I don’t think you or anybody else is willing to bet the farm or a U.S. city on the decision making, rational decision making of Kim Jong-un.”

In the launch last Tuesday, a missile soared 2,500 miles into the atmosphere before crashing down into the Sea of Japan.

Yeo Suk-Joo, policy chief at the South Korean Defence Ministry, said, “If it were fired at a normal angle, it would be capable of flying over 8,000 miles.”

Graham said it’s “crazy” for the U.S. to be still sending military dependents to South Korea.

“It’s crazy to send spouses and children to South Korea, given the provocation of North Korea,” Graham said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “So, I want them to stop sending dependents, and I think it’s now time to start moving American dependents out of South Korea.”

The U.S. has 27,123 military personnel stationed in South Korea, including 23,635 on active duty, according to the Defense Manpower Data Center.

US Military invests $100m in 'genetic extinction' technologies, should Russia be concerned?

Cutting-edge gene editing tools could be used to distort the sex-ratio of mosquitoes to effectively wipe out malarial populations.
A US military agency is investing $100m in genetic extinction technologies that could wipe out malarial mosquitoes, invasive rodents or other species, emails released under freedom of information rules show.

The documents suggest that the US's secretive Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) has become the world's largest funder of "gene drive" research and will raise tensions ahead of a UN expert committee meeting in Montreal beginning on Tuesday.

The UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is debating whether to impose a moratorium on the gene research next year and several southern countries fear a possible military application.

UN diplomats confirmed that the new email release would worsen the "bad name" of gene drives in some circles. "Many countries [will] have concerns when this technology comes from Darpa, a US military science agency," one said.

The technology is capable of splicing DNA strands in order to insert, alter, or remove targeted traits, and "drive" them through a population by ensuring all the offspring of the targeted organism inherit the alteration. Proponents of the gene-editing technology say it can be used to wipe out malaria-spreading mosquitoes, for example. Critics point out that the method could have unforeseen environmental consequences.

Comment: Many countries should have concerns about this news, particularly Russia. DARPA has a history of involving itself in some really creepy stuff. It is highly unlikely that the US military, in particular its DARPA branch, is interested in using this technology to deal with mosquitoes or other 'environmental' problems. DARPA has always been about improving the US military's fighting capability and its ability to defeat its perceived enemies. As such, it is likely that this research is linked to the report from July this year that the US Air force has requested samples of Russian RNA and synovial fluid.
'Weaponizing viruses'? U.S. Air Force places ad for biological samples from Russians

The US Air Force is looking to acquire samples of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and synovial fluid from Russians, according to a government website used to place tenders. The reason behind the order hasn't been specified.

The Air Force's Air Education and Training Command has placed a listing on the Federal Business Opportunities website asking for at least 12 RNA samples from Russian people of a European ancestry, as well as 27 samples of synovial fluid.
Russian RNA request US Air Force

The original US Air Force tender for Russian RNA and synovial fluid
In the request, the US Air Force stated that "information on donors must be provided with the samples, including their sex, age, ethnicity, smoking history, medical history, height, weight and Body Mass Index (BMI)."

Russian president Putin may have hinted at this report while presiding over a meeting of Russia's Human Rights Council in late October 2017.
"Images are one thing, but do you know that biological material is being collected all over the country, from different ethnic groups and people living in different geographical regions of the Russian Federation? The question is - why is it being done? It's being done purposefully and professionally. We are a kind of object of great interest", Putin said.
After the initial request was released by the US Air Force, member of the UN Commission on Biological Weaponry, Igor Nikulin told reporters:
"New types of biological weapons are being developed. There's nothing else that could possibly interest the military department. Most likely, they are weaponized viruses. The US is trying to develop various types of biological weapons specifically for specific carriers of this gene pool, and Caucasoids are needed since they constitute the majority of the population of our country. This is the same focus group for which they are trying to find the samples. It's necessary for the viruses to act selectively on one or another ethnic group."

The use of genetic extinction technologies in bioweapons is the stuff of nightmares, but known research is focused entirely on pest control and eradication.

Cutting-edge gene editing tools such as Crispr-Cas9 work by using a synthetic ribonucleic acid (RNA) to cut into DNA strands and then insert, alter or remove targeted traits. These might, for example, distort the sex-ratio of mosquitoes to effectively wipe out malarial populations.

Some UN experts, though, worry about unintended consequences. One told the Guardian: "You may be able to remove viruses or the entire mosquito population, but that may also have downstream ecological effects on species that depend on them."

"My main worry," he added, "is that we do something irreversible to the environment, despite our good intentions, before we fully appreciate the way that this technology will work."

Jim Thomas, a co-director of the ETC group which obtained the emails, said the US military influence they revealed would strengthen the case for a ban.

"The dual use nature of altering and eradicating entire populations is as much a threat to peace and food security as it is a threat to ecosystems," he said. "Militarisation of gene drive funding may even contravene the Enmod convention against hostile uses of environmental modification technologies."

Gene-drive research has been pioneered by an Imperial College London professor, Andrea Crisanti, who confirmed he has been hired by Darpa on a $2.5m contract to identify and disable such drives.

Fears that the research could be channeled towards bioweapons were "all fantasy", he said. "There is no way this technology could be used for any military purpose. The general interest is in developing systems to contain the undesired effects of gene drives. We have never been asked to consider any application not for the good of eliminating plagues."

Interest in the technology among US army bureaus has shot up since a secret report by the elite Jason group of military scientists last year "received considerable attention among various agencies of the US government", according to an email by Gerald Joyce, who co-chaired a Jason study group in June.

A second Jason report was commissioned in 2017 assessing "potential threats this technology might pose in the hands of an adversary, technical obstacles that must be overcome to develop gene drive technology and employ it 'in the wild'," Joyce wrote.

Comment: So on the one hand the idea that the research could be used for bioweapons is dismissed as fantasy, while another report assessed the "potential threats the technology might pose in the hands of an adversary".
