Ok brother Thomas - this assignment was a lot of work!
Because by the time I can find one-someone has beat me to it!
So I finally chose:
Acts 26:
6) And yet now for the hope of the promise that was made by God to our forefathers I stand called to judgement:
7) whereas our twelve tribes are hoping to attain to the fulfillment of this promise by intensely rendering him sacred service night and day! Concerning this hope I am accused by Jews, O king.

I like this because Paul was in a lot of trouble because of people yak, yak yakking - saying a lot of things that were not true, and he points out that having hope means more than just sitting around gazing into the sky-you actually have to be actively doing something ' intensely rendering him sacred service night and day!'

Thank you for giving the opportunity to be doing something about it.

I came across these texts this morning from
1 John 3:3 " Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself,
just as He is pure."

Rom. 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

_{Ahhh the book of Acts one of which i use a lot to educate and train a "wanna be" Christian lol chapter 26 is what i use for the Repentance teaching, its one of 3 different passages to use for that, rabbi Jesus came to Paul in a dream later remember? saying don't be afraid for he is with you.}
