Problems with Arthritus
1/22/2009 11:14:08 AM
I am 59 and was diagnosed at 29 with rhumatoid arthritus. At 30 I had it in every joint except my hips and was essentialy a cripple. I had three small kids to support and any hope of doing so was remote. I went to see doctors and specialists, took hand fulls of pills and nothing worked. I soon knew this was hopeless and began to look around for alternative treatments. What I found was a book called "The Arthritics Cookbook", co-authored by Colin H. Dong and Jane Banks. This was in 1980 and it is still in print. It is Chinese Herbal Medicine and has worked on me for 29 years now. I follow the Arthritics Cookbook's food list and never have had flareups since the second week of using this information. In the years since age 30 I have taken no meds or herbs, have no pain, and have never ever had a joint replacement. I have only a few food resrtrictions to live with and the rest of my life is totaly normal as pertaining to arthritus. I curl, cycle, run, and anything else I want to do without any restrictions. The Chinese state that this disease is no more than an allergy to food preservatives and the book lists all foods to avoid. I have lived withut arthritus for 29 years on this information I am passing on for free now. The book can be purchased at any health foodstore or book store. It can take a few days, they usually have to order it in and should not cost any more than about 10 dollars tops in paperback. Please pass this information on to all that it will help. Lots of good Luck. My life is great. Harvey.
