Ethanol is biomass product. E 85 is pure ethanol mixed with 15% gasoline. Better sparkling. Corn, wheat, soya, sunflower all are sources of fuel. If richer societies start to convert these resources in fuel, as you can see today, prices of food will raise, there will not be enough food and what after? The question is: is biomass solution?
