Formed in 2007, Brown & Howell LLC is a New York, NY small business providing professional life coaching and small business consulting services to business owners in the US.

The company is led by its founder, Howard A Brown MBA, a Microsoft® Office Live Small Business Partner and a former Wisdom Unlimited Course Leader.
 
 
Prior to Brown & Howell LLC,  Howard Brown led a successful 17-year health care management career at the Joan & Sanford I Weill Medical College of Cornell University, NY.  He worked in the Physician Organization Business Office. In his last role, he was the manager in charge of managed care operations for the 650+ physician-led academic medical center.

His duties included managed care contracting and negotiations and also responsibility for the institution-wide managed care software application.  As well, Howard was the physician billing liaison and administrator for international patients, VIP/high profile patients, corporate and executive patients, and patients who were treated by the Dean of the Medical College.

Originally from Jamaica WI, Howard earned a B.Sc. degree in Hotel Management from the University of the West Indies in 1985.  In 1996 he earned an MBA degree in Health Care Administration from Baruch College/Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, NY.
