Dear Friends, I am Aparna. I often remember the days when I was a child. My father used to get back from work, on his bike. I remember, running out to the front porch to greet him always, me pigtailed, with my arms spread out...papa...! Growing up has its own sweet pains..it was all so hunky dory till I lost my father on my 21st birthday... an awful birthday it was..the world reeled in front of me, I was left to face the world, my mother and an younger sister to look after. I started wearing the pants in the family since then..I decided to take up a job in order to run the family...I did...but that wasn't very outstanding, girls like me had done that before. I also continued doing the Masters in English course, while I was teaching. I completed B. Ed, the training course for the teachers. I had been learning painting under the able guidance of a Guru from Santiniketan and had already exhibited my paintings on shows. Summers faded into winters and soon we were doing well in life. I had an early marriage...it was great... After my son was well into his school and big enough to understand that he had to leave his mama so that she could work, I joined a firm. I had already been taking courses on multimedia and web page making. The firm was a small show and when I joined I took over the reins. It was great. We were doing search engine optimization and we soon rose to a great firm earning lots over the internet. We helped small businesses earn top ranks on the search engines and multitude of visitors. I remember having put my heart and soul into that work which helped the company grow into a great tree from a mere sapling in a very short time. Now that I know, it works, if you are really hard working and sincere, I plan to work on my own. I am always striving to work hard and to learn. That's one thing I've been doing, Learning...I am open to all ideas and really want to grow. I feel if you are open minded, great things just happen to you. So that's what I have been doing, working and learning....helping other businesses grow, while giving them a widely felt web presence. The best part of it is, I love doing what I do. ...I am into some soul searching over a couple of years now, meditation, reiki, healing and so on...I feel an inner urge to know myself..who am I and why am I here sorts...I feel I have my mission set. After long years on the internet, I have known that it works if you work at it and also what works and what doesn't. Nowadays it's more of reading, contemplating, meditating, thinking, listening to good music and painting. I am sure you have been wanting to do this for long. So I chose not to join in this race of money-making and have taken a different way of looking at life. I love to work for People, more so, for those who are differently abled. Believe you me, it's just wonderful to see them smile. So when I look back at life and ask myself, what have I done so far? I am more at peace with myself. I am happy with promoting companies and giving them a wide-felt web presence. They send me commission checks every month. That's how I put my experience into action.
