My husband Steve and I have been married for over 32 years.  We have two adult children and a 5 year old grandson. 

Between my husband and I over the years we've had four layoffs.   We've had to struggle to make it financially.   There is no such thing as job security. 

We only have a few years left to save up and have a comfortable retirement plan.  My goal is to become financially independent.
