I am a Registered Nurse who worked for nearly 30 years. I also traveled and worked in various parts of the continental US. I enjoyed my career and the ability to travel while doing that. I have been semi-retired for a while now and have taught in a private school for nursing an occasional class. I have a husband who I enjoy being home with. We sleep late, eat lunch out, fish some and enjoy our friends, family and church. Being retired is wonderful for us. I have grown children who have their own families. They and their children are the light of my life. We have a dog that is dear to us. He is truly a comfort for both my husband and myself. We enjoy having family and friends visit. Mostly I like to read, both traditional hard back and on the internet (e-books). I am truly a homebody and like it that way.
