A video showing IS jihadists beheading three members of the peshmerga security forces was posted online earlier this week. It began with images of people being brought to a hospital and a voiceover saying that they had been wounded by peshmerga rocket fire. In February, IS released footage purporting to show more than a dozen peshmerga captives paraded in cages. IS spearheaded a sweeping offensive that overran large areas north and west of Baghdad last year, and peshmerga forces moved into a swathe of disputed northern territory after federal security forces withdrew. The jihadists have carried out numerous atrocities in areas they control, ranging from public beheadings to enslavement and rape.

	Chile’s Villarrica volcano spews ash in renewed activity Posted on March 20, 2015 March 2015 – GEOLOGY – The Villarrica volcano in southern Chile, which erupted on 3 March, has shown renewed activity. Officials raised the alert in areas near the Villarrica to orange, the second highest, and cancelled classes for more than 5,500 pupils. Thousands of people were evacuated earlier this month when it spewed ash and lava 1,000m (3,300ft) into the air. The 2840m-high Villarrica is popular with hikers. Hundreds climb the peak each summer to peer inside the crater. No-one died in the eruption on 3 March but there have been fatalities in the past. More than 100 people are thought to have been killed in mudflows on the slopes of the volcano during the 20th Century. –BBC Hawaii volcano: Minimal activity in the downslope portions of the June 27 lava flow continue to be observed by Hawai’i County Civil Defense. Following its Thursday morning over-flight assessment, Civil Defense noted that although the downslope areas remains still, activity about eight miles upslope and closer to the summit area remain active. Small breakouts to the northeast of Puʻu ʻŌʻō have been noted throughout the week by Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. A breakout that began along the northern flank of Puʻu ʻŌʻō, the Feb. 21 breakout, has spread out at the northeastern base of the cone. The northern arm of the breakout near Kahauale’a is still burning trees that are located directly north of Pu’u Kahauale’a and the northeastern arm is following the edge of the flow. Earlier in the week, breakouts were observed about 3-4 miles northeast of Puʻu ʻŌʻō. Those breakouts have become inactive as of Wednesday, according to HVO. A new set of breakouts, however, have been observed in the same proximity. None of the current lava activity is posing an immediate threat to communities in the area. Civil Defense, along with HVO, will continue to maintain observation of the flow and keep the public informed of any changes. Moderate to light smoke and vog conditions were observed Thursday morning as a light south wind was blowing smoke and vog in a northeast direction. Why Are UFO's & Alien Life Suddenly Being Discussed In The Mainstream?

Is the government and media gearing up for disclosure?

The amount of mainstream coverage extraterrestrials are getting is increasing, could the press and the government be prepping us for disclosure?

There was a time when the mainstream press would only cover aliens and UFO’s if it were a satirical piece, after all aliens were relegated to the realm of tin foil hats and science fiction. Recently however more and more publications are talking about the possibility of alien life like it is becoming science fact.

This open discussion of these topics in publications such as The Guardian, The Daily Mail, Metro, The Huffington Post and even Sky News to name a few. The headlines openly discuss the possibilities of alien life and the vastness of space and the likelihood we will find life.

NASA have been have made countless discoveries in recent years that indicate that planets in our own solar system were once alive and had water flowing on the surface. The Telegraph in 2011 would run headlines such as ‘Alien Life Deemed Impossible’. Professor Brian Cox who holds great sway over mainstream audiences when it comes to space ad the unknown also stated that alien life was impossible.

Last December former MoD Nick Pope discusses the possibility that the government was prepping us for alien disclosure through our news and media outlets, by openly discussing these subjects and slowly introducing the concept that it may be true over time you can condition the public to accept the news without fear.

Nick Pope said, “it wasn’t long ago that UFO shows were consigned to networks like Syfy, but there are now only a tiny handful of channels that won’t touch the subject. It’s gone from fringe to mainstream in a matter of a couple of years. Is this part of a campaign to acclimatise people to an extra-terrestrial reality, ahead of an official announcement? Is Disclosure just around the corner?”

The UK government is also set to declassify more of its “X Files” and make them publicly available on the National Archives in late 2015. Nick Pope said, “This is a hugely embarrassing situation for the government.

"Last summer they told the media and the public that yes, this was absolutely all the UFO files and there was a big fanfare about this being the end of a five year programme to declassify and release the entire archive. Now they say, 'Oh, wait a minute, we've found a whole bunch of further UFO files'”.

The total count of confirmed planets discovered by the Kepler Telescope is now at 1004, including two earthlike planets.

This combination of declassifying government documents and widespread media coverage of aliens and UFO’s seem to be gearing us up to accept they exist on mass. Even today (Jan 16) the mainstream press are publishing article about the search of life sustaining planets and how thousands more have been dicovered.

It was just the other week that NASA were saying they have thousands of life sustaining planet candidats. The concept of alien life is without doubt slowly being introduced to the public consciousness. What do you think, are we being prepped for a big disclousure in 2015?

	BIG BANK’S ANALYST WORRIES THAT IRAN DEAL COULD DEPRESS WEAPONS SALES BY LEE FANG @lhfang Could a deal to normalize Western relations with Iran and set limits on Iran’s development of nuclear technology lead to a more peaceful and less-weaponized Middle East? That’s what supporters of the Iran negotiations certainly hope to achieve. But the prospect of stability has at least one financial analyst concerned about its impact on one of the world’s biggest defense contractors. The possibility of an Iran nuclear deal depressing weapons sales was raised by Myles Walton, an analyst from Germany’s Deutsche Bank, during a Lockheed earnings call this past January 27th. Walton asked Marillyn Hewson, the chief executive of Lockheed Martin, if an Iran agreement could “impede what you see as progress in foreign military sales.” Financial industry analysts such as Walton use earnings calls as an opportunity to ask publicly-traded corporations like Lockheed about issues that might harm profitability. Hewson replied that “that really isn’t coming up,” but stressed that “volatility all around the region” should continue to bring in new business. According to Hewson, “A lot of volatility, a lot of instability, a lot of things that are happening” in both the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region means both are “growth areas” for Lockheed Martin. The Deutsche Bank-Lockheed exchange “underscores a longstanding truism of the weapons trade: war — or the threat of war — is good for the arms business,” says William Hartung, director of the Arms & Security Project at the Center for International Policy. Hartung observed that Hewson described the normalization of relations with Iran not as a positive development for the future, but as an “impediment.” “And Hewson’s response,” Hartung adds, “which in essence is ‘don’t worry, there’s plenty of instability to go around,’ shows the perverse incentive structure that is at the heart of the international arms market.” Listen to the exchange here. Rising tensions in the Middle East have prompted governments to go on a shopping spree for American lobbyists and weapons. DefenseOne reportsthat over the next five years, “Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan are expected to spend more $165 billion on arms.” And in the U.S., concerns over ISIS and Iran have prompted calls for an increase in the defense budget. During the call, Hewson proudly noted that 20% of Lockheed’s sales in 2014 were “international” — meaning, to non-American customers. “So we’re pleased with that,” she said, adding that Lockheed has set a goal “to get to 25% over the next few years.” Lockheed Martin’s trademarked slogan is “We never forget who we’re working for,” which Lockheed likes to suggest means Americans in general and military veterans in particular. Anonymous: The Fate of Humanity

Greetings Citizens of the World

There’s been a lot in the news lately; From threats of war, to future space endeavors. Two very different ends of the spectrum with vastly different consequences for humanity. While politicians bicker over power plays by opposing nations here on Earth, we continue to face many threats from beyond this world.

The unfortunate truth is that while our generation may survive the next 100 years… it’s only a matter of time till humanity as a whole faces catastrophe on a global scale. We occupy one tiny world, around a single star out of billions, in a single galaxy out of trillions in the observable universe. That alone shows how fragile our species really is.

Thus we come to a realization, and an inevitability; Earth cannot remain our only home forever. Some of the voyagers we set forth to the farthest reaches of the galaxy will lose contact with us, and we’ll never hear from them again in our life time. Nevertheless, our legacy will live on through them as they colonize new worlds across the stars…

While we can ensure the survival of humanity through migration & colonization, we can also help ensure the survival of Earth through unification. As we unite to explore other worlds, we’ll in turn find ourselves securing our own. Earth will always be our homeworld, and as such it will always hold a special place in our hearts. While we don’t know what the future might hold, we do know one thing for certain; it will be much brighter with humanity united.

If we continue on our current course, our mutual destruction is ensured; so some may ask why we continue to have wars and fight amongst ourselves? Humans are influenced by their cultures and many other factors growing up. From what their parents believed, to what school and religion teaches them. With that in mind, it’s no wonder with over 270 religions, 196 countries, and with modern society being derived from thousands of different cultures… that people tend to bump heads on worldly views.

Nonetheless, those differences are what makes humanity so unique! Rather than being used to divide us, they are precisely what should be bringing us together. From art, to food, and even technology, those differences in culture make humanity… and that’s what should be celebrated. Every year we do share in a celebration, people from all over the world come together to celebrate the new year. We stand together and share in our cultures, and for one day we are united as a planet.

Now we must channel that same energy and use it into coming together again; not for personal gain, not for the promise of money, or fame, but to embark in the greatest journey humanity has ever made. It took just 12 years to go from launching the first artificial satellite, to landing humans on the moon and returning them back to Earth safely. In the 43 years since Apollo 17 humanity has never gone back, nor accomplished a greater manned mission… Not for a lack of money, nor a lack of technology… but because priorities changed and collectively humanity no longer has the drive to venture beyond Earth.

With that being said, the direction and future of humanity itself is on the line, and our priorities must be clear. Due to the theory of special relativity, interstellar travel is possible within our lifetime, and entirely doable with technology that on a much smaller scale already exists today. Therefore the choice is now entirely up to you! Will we unite as a species to ensure the survival of the human race and explore the unknown? Or will we continue to fight each other and play Russian roulette until all the chambers are loaded?
