RE: ARE WE NOW IN THE END TIMES?

Hi Miguel,
I had to post this here.............

Gordon Duff 4-26-14… “Israel – a Sanctuary for Nevada Gambling Boss?”

gordon_duff_vt_header_3I’m putting this one out there as I felt it gives some idea of the extent of criminal involvement in the whole “THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” corporation operation. It has been very deep, and like the AIPAC/Israel lobby octopus splattered over the Capitol building photo in one of the recent VT articles, I’m sure it is quite an involved mission to remove it.

However, this piece also indicates that these people who have accepted money from Mr. Adelson may be in as much trouble as he is. And it also shows me that, despite much MSM indications to the contrary, the White Hats are doing the job to get these octopi out.

—————————————————————————-

Israel – a Sanctuary for Nevada Gambling Boss?

Yesterday, federal officials took into custody the reputed partner of gambling boss Sheldon Adelson, the chief financial backer for the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and primary financier for America’s GOP or Republican Party.

Sources at the Department of Justice say Adelson is accused of laundering $364 million dollars, much of which went into the pockets of politicians in Washington “friendly” to Israel.

If Adelson is indicted, and sources in the Justice Department say this process is well underway, politicians around the US, all Republicans, will be required to return millions in what would then be not only illegal campaign contributions but clearly proof of ties between the GOP and organized crime.

Many of the politicians Adelson has supported on state government level have worked to suppress wages and workers’ rights, blocked regulations protecting consumers from mortgage and investment fraud and supported questionable gambling initiatives.

Adelson’s extremist politics have been a dark stain on the soul of America.

Sheldon Adelson Sources direct to the investigation tell us that a special grand jury is preparing an indictment against Adelson for a long list of offenses, including but not limited to money laundering, mail and wire fraud and conspiracy.

Adelson, one of the world’s wealthiest men, with massive holdings in Las Vegas and Macao, never turns away from controversy. Adelson enraged the veterans community in the United States when he told an AIPAC audience that he was ashamed of having served in the American military when he felt loyalty only to Israel.

Critical is Adelson’s virtual control of America’s pro-Israel Republican Party. The GOP had hopes of using Adelson cash to gain control of the United States Senate.

Analysts predict that were this to happen, America would not only move toward domestic collapse but there is a real possibility that regions of the US would seek to withdraw from the union, seeking an “autonomous zone.”

Adelson and his GOP “employees” have long stated the desire to use nuclear weapons in a preemptory attack on Iran and may well attack Russia and China as well. Though elected officials and, theoretically answerable for their positions, Adelson’s “gang” in Washington regularly promise to bring America to a full-scale war.

Our sources say that federal officials are presenting witness testimony to the grand jury that they believe ties Adelson directly to money laundering.

The case against “Shelly”

His partner in this endeavor is now in federal custody, said to be in witness protection, and prepared to testify at length to the grand jury. The initial story had been reported in an article in the Huffington Post last year.
Former CIA agent “Chip” Tatum spent many hours with a yet unnamed witness against Adelson. Stories include traveling the world in one of Adelson’s private jets on “business” that the government considers money laundering and racketeering. We are currently in negotiations with the US Attorney and US Marshals to gain limited access for additional interviews.

Will Shelly flee?

Sources in the US Department of Justice are concerned that Adelson, who has vast holdings in Macao and around the world, will flee the United States rather than face arrest. Justice officials say that Adelson’s arrest is only a matter of time.

However, Adelson though aged and no longer well, has a history of standing up to critics. Adelson also has absolutely no respect for the US government, an organization he has spent millions “buying.”

Sources close to Adelson have told this reporter that he is driven by a profound hatred of President Obama that blinds him to the consequences of his actions. Adelson, unlike the extremist Koch Brothers and Richard Mellon Scaife, wealthy autocrats that finance America’s ultra-right wing GOP, is a real self-made man.

Adelson started with nothing and built a fortune estimated between $50 and $100 billion. Adelson is a strong backer of, not just Israel, but Israel’s most extremist elements. His money doesn’t just buy political favors in the US but influences politics inside Israel as well.

In fact, groups in Israel opposed to his extremist views are working to prevent him from gaining control of Israel’s media, a project Adelson has been working on for some time.

Exposing “Gangster America”

During the last election, consultants working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation brought documentation that showed the GOP candidate, Mitt Romney, to be involved in money laundering. Photographs of Romney in Cuba were supplied including one with his mistress, Maria Perez Andropov.

In hours of tape recorded meetings, a massive plot under investigation by the Department of Justice was outlined. Ties between major US corporations including one huge retailer and drug cartels were documented.

Documents were presented showing Raoul Castro, current Cuban head of state, to provide safe haven for meetings between American officials involved in money laundering and their cartel counterparts.

Dates of visits, outlining flights from Toronto and Vera Cruz to Havana were listed. These interviews are all taped, all secure.

The Adelson case ties directly to the pattern. Those shown to be involved with the Mexican cartels are all prominent “friends of Israel.” All are members of the Republican Party.

What we saw then was a comprehensive case against Romney and other top GOP politicians. However, if what we now see plays out, it will be Adelson, 86 years old, self-made billionaire, who will be the only target.

It is true that Adelson is “the last man standing.” Adelson has virtually promised to spend “whatever it takes” to buy the next two America elections. Has this made Adelson the target? Has the extreme danger of war – which can be credited to extremist elements in the US tied to Adelson, men like Senators Ted Cruz and John McCain – put a “target on Shelly”?

It would take very little to imprison half of America’s government and certainly most of Wall Street. Their crimes are notorious. Most military contractors and oil companies engage in massive fraud as part of their daily business.

When we look at Adelson, Israel’s powerhouse in the US, when we look at the politicians who slavishly bow to his every whim, we wonder. Why does Obama only go after Adelson and never those who have sold their souls to him so openly?

Thank you, Myrna. While I knew next to nothing about these Adelson and Shelly persons, there is actually very little in all this that can surprise me anymore. And while all we can do right now is wait and see whatever may come next, this I can tell you, the smell perceived is not good.

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) — A gas explosion at a jail has injured 100 to 150 inmates and corrections officers, a county spokeswoman said.

UPDATE: Escambia officials say both confirmed fatalities were prison inmates at @FOX10News

The explosion happened around 11 p.m. CDT Wednesday in Escambia County jail's booking facility and caused the building to partially collapse, said Kathleen Castro, the county's public information manager. About 600 inmates were in the building at the time, she said.

Castro didn't know if flooding in the area was a factor but says the jail did get extensive flooding during heavy rains that drenched the region Tuesday and Wednesday.

The injured were brought to hospitals and the uninjured inmates were brought to jails in neighboring counties, Castro said.

Spokespeople at Sacred Heart Hospital and West Florida Hospital in Pensacola said the injuries they treated were all relatively minor.

Vicki Brooks, a spokeswoman for Sacred Heart, said they treated 31 patients with mostly neck and back injuries. Kendrick Doidge said West Florida Hospital treated 37 inmates in the emergency room and all have been released back into the custody of the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.

100,000 march as Moscow revives May Day tradition

MOSCOW (AP) — About 100,000 people have marched through Red Square to celebrate May Day, the first time the annual parade has been held on the vast cobblestoned square outside the Kremlin since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.

In keeping with Soviet-era traditions, Thursday's parade was organized by trade unions and honored the working man. But it also celebrated Russia's annexation of Crimea and was seen as part of President Vladimir Putin's efforts to stoke patriotic feelings.

Marchers held up signs saying "Let's go to Crimea for vacation" and "Putin is right." Russian flags fluttered through the crowd.

In past years, Communists and others have tried to keep up the May Day tradition with parades and rallies in central Moscow, but their numbers have steadily dwindled.

For the first time since the fall of the communist regime in 1991, Moscow holds a May Day parade in Red Square.

Ukraine renews military draft as unrest intensifies

Associated Press

Ukraine May Day rallies in the east and west highlight division in the nation. Clashes sparked in one of Ukraine's main eastern cities, Donetsk, as anti-government demonstrators stormed the local prosecutor's office. (May 1)

Watch video

DONETSK, Ukraine (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that Ukraine should withdraw its military from the eastern and southern regions of the country, a statement that could bolster anti-government insurgents who are seizing buildings.

Hours later, Ukraine's acting president ordered that the military draft be renewed, citing "threats of encroachment on the nation's territorial integrity" and interference by Russia in its internal affairs.

Moscow has consistently denounced Ukrainian security forces' largely ineffectual operation against the eastern insurgents and warned they should not commit violence against civilians.

In a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Putin said the removal of military units was the "main thing," but it was unclear if that could be construed as an outright demand.

Oleksandr Turchynov's conscription order marked a turnaround for the country, which last year announced plans to end military conscription in favor of an all-volunteer force. His order did not specify where conscript-bolstered forces could be deployed. The renewal of military conscription affects only men 18 to 25 years old.

Earlier in the week, the acting president said police and security forces had been effectively "helpless" against insurgents in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the heart of the unrest, and that efforts should be focused on preventing the instability from spreading to other parts of the country.

In the regional capital city of Donetsk, anti-government demonstrators took over the regional prosecutor's office Thursday. Several dozen riot police standing guard at the office fired stun grenades and tear gas when some at the front of the crowd of several hundred people attempted to force their way into the building.

As the confrontation escalated, some in the crowd threw rocks and managed to wrest away shields from police. An Associated Press reporter saw a handful of officers being dragged away and beaten by members of the crowd.

Hundreds of onlookers accompanying the protesters shouted slogans and hurled abuse.

A car outside the building blared out patriotic World War II music. Inside, a passenger waved a flag bearing a doctored image of Soviet leader Josef Stalin in a black vest and holding a machine gun superimposed with the words: "Death to Fascism."

Upon occupying the building, protesters discarded the Ukrainian flag and replaced it with that of the Donetsk People's Republic — a movement that seeks either greater autonomy from the central government, or independence and possible annexation by Russia.

Donetsk is the heartland of support for Russia-friendly former President Viktor Yanukovych, who was ousted in February after months of protests in the capital. Opponents of the government that succeeded him have seized buildings in about a dozen cities and towns in eastern Ukraine.

Local news website Novosti Donbassa reported that earlier in the day around 30 armed men arrived in six cars in the town of Amvrosiivka, which lies close to the Russian border, and took over the city council and forced the mayor to resign.

On Wednesday, insurgents took control of the customs-service building in Donetsk and city hall in Alchevsk, an industrial center of about 110,000 people, adding to the scores of buildings taken by the separatists over the past month in the east, where a dozen cities are now in the hands of the separatists.

There has also been a spate of reported kidnappings of pro-government politicians. The Svodoba nationalist party said a local party branch leader in Kostiantynivka, 65 kilometers (40 miles) north of Donetsk, initially managed to fight off attackers at his home but was taken away as he was phoning for help.

Turchynov has twice proclaimed "anti-terrorist" operations to regain control of the east, but to little effect.

Unlike many recent seizures of the government offices, the assault on the prosecutor's office appeared to have been spearheaded by people armed with little more than sticks. However, at least one young man was seen with a handgun tucked into his trousers, and at least one firebomb was thrown at the building.

The armed element of the insurgency is focused on Slovyansk, a city 110 kilometers (70 miles) north of Donetsk in which seven European observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe remain held by pro-Russia gunmen.

Merkel on Thursday again called Putin and asked for his assistance in freeing the group, Merkel spokeswoman Christiane Wirtz said.

Russia denies allegations from Kiev and the West that it is influencing or fomenting strife in eastern Ukraine.

The Kremlin confirmed the conversation and said Putin stressed "the main thing was for Ukraine to withdraw its troops from southeastern Ukraine, stop the violence and quickly start a broad national dialogue on constitutional reform."

In Washington, the second-ranking official of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization said the alliance now feels compelled to start treating Moscow as an adversary.

"In central Europe, clearly we have two different visions of what European security should be like," Alexander Vershbow, the deputy secretary-general of NATO, said in a question-and-answer session with reporters.

He said Russia's annexation of Crimea and its apparent efforts to manipulate turmoil in eastern Ukraine have fundamentally changed the NATO-Russia relationship.
