Hello, my name is Tom Baker. I am a 52yr old, Christian evangelist and co-founder of the United Body of Christ all denominational Christian center, at www.unitedbodyofchrist.net. I am married with 5 kids. A 30 yr old son, an 20 yr old daughter, 12 yr old 20lb siamese cat named DA (thats pronounced duh), a 4 yr old white poodle named Napoleon, and moma's 3yr old white pomeranian Angelica. About 7yrs ago my wife and I bought our 1st computer for $100. It was 5yrs old and had a whopping 1996mhz memory. It was slower than a snail and mostly a head ache, but I learned a lot on that old computer, and it started me on the internet. Other than Christ it was probably the best investment I have ever made. I've always been fascinated with designing and building businesses. Starting with nothing and turning it into a proffitable venture gives me a great feeling of accomplishment and self worth. The problem is, it cost a lot of money and money has stopped me cold on some of the most proffitable projects. Then I discovered that business on the internet worked just like any other business. Find a nich, provide good products, create some great marketing, and treat your customers as if you were one of them. I believe the key to any successful business is to share the success. Simply show graditude to your business associates and your customers. A likable business, like a likable person has alot of help contributing to its success and one who is not liked is in for a hard and lonely struggle. Im not sure where I got it but I like this saying, " you can have anything you want in this life if you will help enough other people get what they want ". I truly believe in this statement and try to remember it in every aspect of my life. Since starting the Christian center and helping people use the internet to enhance their business or build an income, I have found out that building a business on line is hard and with all the junk you have to go through just to find something worth using takes a lot of time, but with lots of help I have come across a lot of good programs.
