I absolutely love collectibles.  I used to collect old medicine bottles and old books but now, I just collect anything that unique, creatively put together or cute.  I have a special love for vintage strawberry shortcake stuff and have recently begun to enter the universe of barbie collectibles....my goodness, there's a learning curve to that world!

I love trolls, precious moments, russ, bainbridge bears, collectible dolls, those McDonald's Happy Meal Toys and just about anything else that is unique.  I've got NASCAR, football, baseball, basketball and fishing collectibles.  You name it, I probably collect it.  I think that may be how most collectible stores get started.....you can only collect so much before you run out of room for it all, ha.

No, I always knew I wanted to start an online collectibles store but didn't realize how much research on each type of collectible would be needed.  In order to really study any type, I have to have enough of them to learn about them.  So.....got so much stuff you wouldn't believe it.

It's a bit tedious listing it but it's also fun to find something that someone has been looking for.  I recently made a woman's Christmas dinner a lot more cheerful because I had a set of discontinued McCrory dishes that she'd been looking for, for years.  And I just sold a couple of the Incredibles Happy Meal Toys to a fella whose daughter is going to have a lot of fun with them.  That feels good.
