I have lived in the USA and Australia and have seen most of both countries. “My greatest joy is being able to help others because that strengthens me.” Having experienced many different types of work, from weeding radish fields and picking up empty cans and bottles for money to being a teacher to being the comptroller of a small company to being a Human Resources Officer for the State of Connecticut, I have learned a lot about how to better relate to and therefore help others, which is my main passion. I enjoy being outside and being active. I love working for myself and not by myself, meaning I have mentors to help guide me (if only I would listen to them more). Some of my interests are working in my yard and garden; participating in sports like tennis, skiing, and basketball; enjoying nature; and traveling and vacationing. I enjoy music that has a story or music that relaxes me. I seldom watch TV shows, maybe 3 or 5. I like action movies, mystery movies and movies that inspire me. Most of the books I read are self help books [I need a lot of help ;-)]. Ever so often I will read science fiction books, Lord of the Rings and the R.A. Salvatore series. Most of all I enjoy helping others to succeed which to me means being happy and to Live with Passion – Live Free. Professional Biography Gary serves as Owner at Tech-Age of Connecticut, LLC and is located in Andover, CT. Prior to founding Tech-Age of Connecticut, LLC, Gary served as Human Resources Officer at State of Connecticut-Dept of Social Services. Gary attended University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he studied Mathematices/Psychology and earned a Bachelors degree in 1969. He also attended University of California-Long Beach where he studied Secondary Education in 1972 and Pepperdine University where he studied Clinical Psychology in 1971. Gary's core expertise includes Mathematics teacher - junior and senior high school, speed reading instructor, licensed tax preparer, accountant, office manager, home construction, comptroller, payroll supervisor, insurance sales and human resources officer. In his personal time, Gary enjoys gardening, photography, computers, do-it-yourself handyman, hiking, kayaking, skiing, tennis, basketball, traveling and helping others.
