Hello everyone, My name is Joseph, and I am pleased you are visiting my page.
Attended a one room school in rual Indiana, first 7 years - never missed 1 day of school til I moved to Dayton, (Oh Yes, I did walk to and from school a couple of miles...my kids don't believe me ) Attended Jr and Sr High school in Dayton. My claim to fame is while living in Beaver Falls, PA for 2 years I went to school with Joe Namith. (I worked at Shortie's Atlantic Station, never went to a football game, I didn't even know he was famous ;-)> BFSrHS did not lose a game while he was there, he had brothers that played also, he had a sister who did not play.
Right after High School I went into the USAF..... (not going to say anything about my adventures except to say I was all over the world. No wars tho. Served between 1955- 1962.....
Upon discharge from the Air Force in 1962, he went into direct sales (door to door) with Fuller Brush Co.
One snowy day in Ohio he knocked on the door of a Meat Plant Owner and was hired on the spot to be a "Food Plan" salesman. He stayed in this type of business until 1994 selling a variety of products and services, vacuum cleaners, cemetery plots, water conditioners, baby furniture, news stories on plaques over the phone etc.
In 1994 he started working for a carpet cleaning company in Tampa, Fl making appointments for the technicians, after four months he started his own Carpet/Upholstery Cleaning Business, have added tile/grout cleaning and sealing.
In keeping with his motivation to spread the word about the carpet cleaning industry to anyone who would like to have their own business

The family consist of seven children all who have moved away from our home, lost one to cancer.
UPDATE: Three of the children have moved back home... 2001 temporally!

UpDate the one with 2 kids left in Dec 2005. That leaves one he's going to college and has about 2 more years and he will be gone again. (I will be changing the locks, enough is enough!)
UpDate 5/8/2007:Uh Oh, Son graduated last Fri evening!! (Still here!!)
