I have a question! In the following speech originally made by Rev. Martin Luther King and well remembered in Elmer Green's recitation.

Who was he speaking of and to, when he said;

"I Have a Dream, We Shall Overcome and let Freedom Ring."

What group of people was he speaking to in this speech specifically related to from your perspective?

I felt it was for all people, white, black, red or yellow

Dr. King Finished his Speech in this way...

"And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Seems to me to quite apparent to whom he was speaking.

I appreciate your responses so far. I hope to see more as I am not sure all would agree.
