I began my life being educated firstly at Aberdeen Grammar School, 1959-1972, leaving with 5 "O" levels. I then studied Visual Art at Dartington College of Arts, Devon, England 1974-1977 resulting in a Diploma in Art and Design in Education and a Third Year Diploma in Sequential Studies, then after completing my studies there I attended Goldsmiths College, London 1977-78 gaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art before returning to my home city of Aberdeen, Scotland where I continue to be based for my current work.

I learnt to play the flute at school and from the age of 12 trained in various musical styles, mainly classical and military band forms. My musical passion these days is primarily Jazz although I enjoy a broad range of musics from folk through contemporary rock to classical.

My background in design and visual art was instrumental in directing my interest towards the Internet as a platform to build an online business combining my established skills with marketing and also my concern with health issues borne out of my personal experience. I was diagnosed with a benign pituitary tumour in 1992 and continue to receive medication to maintain control of the most important gland in the human body. I am keen to initiate continued research into the area of endocrine related health problems and how we deal with the aftermath of treatment for the various conditions associated with the diseases of the pituitary.

I am now currently focussed on becoming a Certified IT Marketing Consultant and have a high desire to apply my knowledge helping those online to succeed with their online presence through marketing and the many facets of building a successful business with a range of professional tools.
