Upcoming Event Information from:

Re: The Adlandpro Community Trade Fair, May '07

Good morning,

One of my fondest memories growing up and probably yours too is that of going to a fair. There would be lots of rides and games spread over a piece of clear land in town. I remember lots of local businesses there from bakeries to farmers all demonstrating and showcasing their goods. I used to love going because a lot of these businesses would give away something for free once in a while.

I got to thinking, "Couldn't we hold a virtual fair event here on Adlandpro Community? Of COURSE we could!"

I know that:
- Everyone here on Adlandpro Community has a business of some kind, right?
- Everyone here has something valuable to offer, right?
- Everyone here is interested in doing business on the internet, right?
- Everyone loves free stuff, right?

We could hold a weekly "Community Trade Fair" where people who want to have a virtual "business exhibit" can connect with people who want to have fun while exploring the community and all the businesses in it.

Here's how it will work. Send us an email telling us why you should be chosen as an exhibitor at the Trade Fair. We'll choose 5 to 10 entries from them to feature in a 1 hour "Community Trade Fair" section of the community. If you're chosen, you'd get introduced and pre-promoted in our "Monthly Fair Guide" that will go out to every community member on Adlandpro a couple of days before the fair opens and get a Virtual Booth on the Fair Home Page. The "Trade Fair Guide" outlines you, your business, and your "featured freebie" you're giving away to people who visit your Business Venue.

You'll get HUGE coverage everywhere because we'll be sending messages directly into members' Community InBoxes, Email Addresses, we'll have banners posted all over the community about the event, heck we'll even make sure that Google itself knows we're having this huge event with YOU in it!

In exchange for this *massive* exposure, you must provide something of value to each visitor for free or provide a larger prize for one lucky visitor. This item must be of real value to visitors and we'll only select entries with a serious contribution to the fair. This will ensure that we get the most people coming out to the Fair and checking out all the "Business Venues"

You provide the goods, we'll provide the traffic! The only thing missing will be the "Fun House" and the "Ferris Wheel"Smiley
We'll even have some giveaways, games and contests from Adlandpro to make things even more exciting. This could be anything from free advertising services, answering trivia questions for prizes, all the way up to FREE cold, hard, cash!

This event will only be held once a week to ensure that people are DYING to get in the Fair Gates. They'll want to get their hands on the freebies and prizes while the WHOLE time they're exposed to your business. The catch is that they have to BE THERE to get the prizes. All prizes and freebies that venues are offering must be given away BEFORE the fair closes. If you're not there to win them or receive them, you're out of luck.

Here are some ideas for freebies and prizes:
- 50%+ Discount Vouchers for services
Services or products from your business
- Trinkets branded with your company name/logo
- Bonus Services/Product in exchange for buying regular priced Services/Product
- Free Memberships to Premium Paid Services
- A Free Giveaway of Big Ticket Items (DVDs, USB Key Drives, Premium Software etc.)

The better the giveaways, the more people will come out and see your business.
I've opened this forum to find out what you think of this idea. Love it? Hate it? Have suggestions to make it better? Let me know what you can offer up as a Freebie to make Fair-goers just DROOL! I want to hear about it. This is where your opinion can be heard.

Let's find a way as a community to make this happen for one-another and I'll see you on the "Community Trade Fair Forum"

Regards,
Bogdan Fiedur, CEO

Hi Bogdan

Thats an awesome way to promote your business and I remember fairs as well, espeacially the hot dogs.

If I was to offer something of value I think it would be a free 7-day trial membership to the business I'm promoting, and I would choose 5 people, I've been thinking of offering free trials to people, but it's just finding the one's that are serious about building a business, but then again they have that 7-days to decide if it is for them. And how to go about using my credit card for the trial, could be a bit tricky, I would need to fill in the submit form myself, but that requires all the persons information, which I don't think they would wanna give over, and I wont blame them. Or maybe I can get a preloaded credit card and give them the number, enough to pay for 5 subscriptions, now thats an idea.

Anyway I reckon it would be a hugh hit this virtual fair, be good to see how it turns out.

Regards.
