Misspelled Words

Okay, how many of you have had this happen to you?  You just made a reply to some post.  You spent a few minutes carefully planning your thoughts and using just the right words.  You get so engrossed in your thoughts.  You read it over three times.  You make a couple of word replacements.  You are ready to post!  You are thinking about what the poster will say and/or feel.  You feel all proud that you wrote such a wonderful warm fuzzy reply.  You hit the post button!  It's gone.  It's in Adland library.  It's published forever.  As you are reviewing your post, it hits you like a ton of bricks... you MISSPELLED A WORD!

Don't they drive you crazy especially when it is a simpel word?  How embarrassing!  Okay, I admit that I have made my embarrassing blunders with the English language.  I guess that is why I am writing this forum.  I think it is really humorous to see someone's wisdom and heart in a post, but see a misspelled word.  I have to giggle and accept their excitement.  I hope you giggle too.

I think it would be amusing if each of us share a word or five that we find hard to spell.  You know those words that your spell checker has to tell you about.  Aha!  How about sharing those embarrassing moments too?   Maybe someone has a method to overcoming this madness.  It would even be interesting to hear of any other language word blunders.  Come on, it will be fun.

The top 100 misspelled words.

Note:  Mispelled worsd are veyr mcuh allowedd.

Hi Joe,

I just misspelled (at least) two words in a post I just made to your post on supporting our troops. (darn it)

Anywho, two words I usually misspell are:
"beleive" & "somthing"

One would think as many times as I do it, I would learn to type them correctly in the first place and yet, I do it time after time.

Please, Take Care!!!!

Hi Joe!

Great forum!  I think one of the most common mistakes I see here at Adland is the use of their, there, and they're, although two, to, and too comes in a close second.  These are more of a grammatical problem than spelling though.

Another word I see misspelled quite a bit is congratulations.  It is commonly misspelled as congradulations.

I look forward to seeing other posts. Smiley

Yes Joe, its real fun to see the little mistakes, sometimes its in the typos sometimes its miss spelt as you say, and it does bring a Smiley  to ones face. But I guess most have learnt to except it that time is short for most of us, and not many try to be perfect, if the msg is got across, thats all that mattersSmiley and in most cases it does.

Correcting mistakes is possible in your own forum, but once its posted in anothers  oh well thats another story !! ;-(

Have a fun weekend Joe,

blessings
