Happy Constitution Day!

The Constitution of the United States

PREAMBLE:  We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Today is a great day to celebrate with reading the Constitution and sharing it with others.  Knowledge is power!

Thanks for the Reminder of the Celebration marking the Anniversary of this vitally important day in our Nation's history.

What began as an American experiment - the first constitution created by the deliberation of elected representatives rather than by the force of a single leader - is now the longest-living constitution in the world.  Today as we celebrate the 221st anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution, refresh your knowledge of this important era and remarkable document through the following 10 questions:
 
1. The average age of the framers or Founding Fathers was approximately:

A. 30

2. Who is popularly known as "the father of the Constitution?"

Hi Phillip,

Thank you for such an outstanding post in the spirit of Constitution Day!  Those 10 questions really make you think, and I got 9 right.  Do I get an *A*???  hehehe

Seriously, I wish everyone would get that little book and study it.  It is time to take our constitution back and return the USA to the beloved vision our forefathers had for this glorious nation! Smiley
