Some of you may be wondering what our government is doing to resolve the oil crisis issue in AMERICA.
Personally, I was wondering who was responsible for doing nothing to resolve it for the past 30 years. So I did some research.
USA - History of Voting in the House on energy issues:
It's been over 14 years now since ANWR was put on the table for oil exploration: Republicans 91% voted to drill for oil in ANWR. 86% of the Democrats opposed drilling in ANWR.
To convert coal to liquid: 97% Republicans supported; 78% of Democrats opposed it.
For oil shale development in Colorado: Republicans voted 90% for; The Democrats voted 86% against.
Oil exploration Outer Continental Shelf: 81% of Republican yes; 83% of Democrats said no.
Refinery Capacity Increase: 97% Republicans voted to increase refinery capacity; 96% of Democrats said, absolutely not.
Developoment of Oil & Gas Reserves: 91% of Republicans voted yes; 86% of Democrats consistently have been against oil and gas exploration and development.
And what have the Democrats come up with to solve the energy crisis?
1. Seven investigations of price-gouging.
2. Four investigations of speculators
3. A suggestion to sue OPEC
4. Proposing 20 billion dollars in new taxes against the oil companies.
5. To stop filling the Strategic Oil Reserve; result, a 5 cent reduction in gas, short term only. And leave our country at risk.
That's lame. Not one of those suggestions would do anything to resolve the oil crisis and reduce fuel costs.
I have wondered when Americans will actually get angry enough about this situation to do somethinga bout it! It wasn't $3 gas or even $4 gas. So how about $5 gas, $10 gas, what will it take?
Technology has improved to the point where there's no excuse for not drilling for oil and increasing refinery capacity. The fact is we don't have viable alternatives to oil yet, so we need time to develop them. We need oil until that goal is accomplished.
I want to keep the planet green too. But we need jobs a vibrant economy. I don't want to starve to death or not be able to go anywhere.
We need to develop wind energy, electric cars, solar, geo-thermal, plug-in hybrids, electric hybrids and whatever else we can to dump the need for oil as much as possible. I'd love to see OPEC go bankrupt.
Until we resolve this issue we will be seated on the edge of disaster. Famine is no joke, war is no joke and all this is leading in that direction.

Find ways to improve gas mileage: http://www.MPGdoubled.com Browns gas is 3-times more potent than gasoline. In one gallon of water there is 1833 Gallons of combustible gas!!! It burns better, it's free and gets anywhere from 50% to 100% more gas mileage. You can build this yourself.
http://www.ExtremeDutyOil.com I got 20% more MPG and use 80% less oil.
Put nitrogen in your tires, nigrogen (cheap inert gas) has large molecules and it takes a year to loose a pound of air. While you compressed air has small molecules and a tire looses 1 lb of air a month. Low tires can loose you 25% of your fuel mileage.
Slow down, stop driving like an your tail pipe is on fire.
One man is actually doing something about the problem. http://www.pickensplan.com/ href="http://www.pickensplan.com/">Http://www.pickensplan.com/
Buy more fuel efficient vehicles; look at what is coming out in 2010.
Don't listen to the Nay-sayers, most are idiots and they are everywhere. If we listened to them we'd still be living in caves. Anything is possible if we are determined!
