Oil closes above $145 a barrel heading for $150
Posted: Jul 05 2008 08:08 AM

Did you catch this!  Crude oil closed above $145 a barrel for the first time. I read where by Thursday June 10th oil may possibly hit $150 a barrel. Will we soon see $200 a barrel oil?

Car companies didn't do anything till this became a crisis and they started loosing money.

Government sat on their back side for 30 years knowing this would happen AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Washington still refuses to drill for oil where there is oil in the USA.  Yet they have no other alternative, no other plans, no solution at all. They just argue and get nothing done!

It wouldn't take much to improve fuel mileage by 50% to 100% if "they" wanted it to happen.

There's an 80 year old, high school level science project could have changed everything in a matter of days http://www.MPGdoubled.com and you can do this yourself.

If you haven't looked at this simple technology, take a moment and see what can be done quickly and you in your garage or easily by every car mfg on the planet.  http://www.MPGdoubled.com

At least Ford, Toyota, Chevy and a few others have been working to get some fuel efficient cars on the market.  Just a little late to help us before 2010 or even later.

Take a look at what Toyota is proposing for 2010

More Hybrid concept cars, very neat:

We should be calling, writing and emailing our government representatives demanding they do something and do it now! I'll bet you haven't done anyting but gripe?  Am I right?

You need to make yourself heard.  Have you written your government representatives (senator and congressman)? For Americans go here, find your governmnet rep and email them, tell them you want them to stop arguing, start thinking, fix this oil problem and get the job done now!http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml

Hi Ray,

Interesting you ask. I HAVE indeed written to my federal representation. My senators are Kerry & Kennedy and they have no ears. Our best bet is to remove these folks from office when they come up for re-election. Enough is enough.

I think our new President, whoever it is, should present a challenge to industry to come up with a way to be energy independent within 8 years. Remember in 1962 when JFK did that with space exploration? Well, we put a man on the Moon in 7 years! We can do the same with energy and rid ourselves of oil

Question, do you have personal experience with the technonogy you are sharing with us? Please let me know what results you have seen and how your vehicle ran. This could be a big deal if this is a viable and sustained technology.

Our lowest price for gas where I live was $3.959. I wish they would just drop the 9 tenths of a cent and just use whole numbers.

Thanks for the post,

Doug

P.S. Hey you guys, here's a technology we ALL will want and need AND will not conflict with any other program you are doing. It can only enhance it. How would you like to connect to the internet at T-1 speeds up & down AND do it for $19.95/mo? It's coming and soon after rollout [2008] the country will be covered. Think what that could mean for our internet businesses.
