I don't know of many ways to get to know one another here. But an easy way to break the ice is to send your biz info with a quick hello...
I don't consider it spam for you to send me your business info. It's like you handing me your business card. I might not have seen you online and I know it takes time and consideration on your part to contact me.

Thanks for your Invite.

Whenever I am looking to add Friends here at Adland, the place I turn to first are the Reports http://community.adlandpro.com/reports.aspx.

If you click on New Members, you will find people who just joined us here at our great little Community.  Send them a Welcome and Invite them to be Friends.  If you Click on Most Friendly Members or Most Active Members, these Folks obviously love making new Friends, and any one of them would be honored to be your Friend.  Finally, Person of the Week.  These are Folks who have been recognized by their Friends here at Adland for their Contributions to our Community.  They obviously understand that this is what Networking is all about, Friends helping Friends.  They would love to be your Friend.  While you're there, please be sure and VOTE!  It's Important!
