Hi Folks,

No articles from me today, rather... my intent is a public announcement to let you know about an award competition going on this week.

Normally I wouldn't make any mention unless there was a real purpose in supporting one of the candidates, and in this case there are a few that I feel deserve your support.

These competitions tend to lean towards pure popularity contests, rather than towards the intent in which they were created, which is why for the most part I've chosen to quietly boycott rather than voice any negativity towards the process.

However because I'm involved in this competition, and because I know some of my fellow candidates, that I'm speaking up and hoping that you'll go and support the person you feel BEST meets the definition of this award.
