Sunny Greetings from California, my Oreo friend Steven!

I am delighted to have your visit. Thank you for dropping in. I wish that I could bottle the lovely spring weather here and send it to you right now.

I am so glad that you enjoyed reading about my hometown of Clovis. As you can tell, I am very proud of Clovis. It is a hidden gem of California.

I like your remark about my hometown very much:
"Is it just me?...or is Tarpey Depot really made out of OREOs. LOL"
That's cute!

I look forward to your next visit.
I appreciate your friendship and support, Steven.

With a cloud of chalk dust and the pack behind him, Team Columbia-Highroad's Mark Cavendish won the 4th stage of the Tour of California on Wednesday, February 18, 2009.
The chalk dust was from fans writing on the roadway.

Hello JoAnne,
I love this post you shared here. Your town sounds so lovely that it is now on my list of places to visit. Your pride of Clovis is heart warming and makes me think of Point Peele, Lemington, Ontario, Canada where I grew up, well near there in another small and beautiful town by the name of Essex.
Point Peele is a national park and protected wetlands that has marshes, beaches and forest that jets out into Lake Erie. This is the most southern tip of Canada and it hosts a variety of creatures and insects, some are only found there! It is one of the resting places of the Monarch Butterfly during their long migration. Fields of Monarchs is a site to see, I wish I had pictures to show you. I will have to google that now.
There is still snow here in Alberta, Canada so I love seeing pictures like you have here and I close my eyes to picture the green grass and colorfull blossoms that will be here soon.

Have A Wonderful Day,
Nancy

Sunny Greetings from California, Nancy!

I am delighted to see you on this forum. Thank you for taking time to get to know about my hometown of Clovis.

I am happy to know that you enjoyed reading about Clovis. This town has good people, excellent schools, and people-minded local government. We are very proud of our Old Town Clovis because of its uniqueness of a clean American small town. It is a great place to live and raise a family. It is just a hidden gem of California.

Here is a photo of one of the many plum orchards in full bloom just about 30 miles outside of my hometown of Clovis. There are hundred of thousands of acres of fruit orchards in full bloom in March every year.

This photo was taken in early March of this year. It shows just a small portion of our very famous and strikingly colorful "Blossom Trails" that attract visitors from all over the world. I wish you could see them in person.

I hope that you would be able to add Clovis into your itinerary
whenever you have a chance to come to California. My husband and I would be delighted to be your local tour guides.

I value your friendship and support, Nancy.

Until next time--

Have an Awesome Weekend!
