“WITHOUT  SHEDDING OF BLOOD  IS  NO  REMISSION”

Search the scriptures and you’ll not find,

A bloodless sacrifice of any kind.

From Adam’s clothes to Calvary.

The blood was shed to set men free.

The Bible makes it clear and plain.

This is seen in the sin of Cain.

No plants or fruit will pay the price,

They’re not a pleasing sacrifice.

Abel brought from among his herd,

As God declared within His word.

Without the blood no redemptions made.

Christ shed His blood and sin debt paid.

If Christ had died and blood not shed,

In our sins we would still be dead.

Remove the blood and the sins remain,

This is the account of wicked Cain.

There is good news from Calvary.

Christ gave His blood for you and me.

Don’t hide the blood to make it nice.

We’re saved by Christ’s bloody sacrifice.

WITHOUT THE CROSS

Where is the value of things of this earth,

If Christ had not died to give us new birth?

All things have endings and all things are loss,

If Christ had not died for our sins on the cross.

Without the cross, where redemption was made,

All things just die, then soon are decayed.

But life is eternal and heaven I’ll see.

The cross made the difference for you and for me..

All of life’s history revolves ‘round the cross.                      

Without redemption, then all things are loss.

When Jesus died, as He hung on the tree,

He gave my life value for eternity.

Without the cross, we are left as sin’s slave

Without the cross, there’s not hope past the grave

Without the cross, life has no direction.

The cross shows God’s love in total perfection.

THE  SAVIOR  IS  RISEN

With fear and trembling Mary went to the tomb.

Three days had now passed with sorrow and gloom.

The tomb was now empty but a message was given.

The angel assured them that Jesus was risen.

Why seek ye the living among the dead.

He is not here.  Just recall what He said.

Come see the place where the Lord Jesus lay.

They then left rejoicing as they went on their way.

The good new was given to Peter and John.

The angel assured them that Jesus was gone.

“Come see the place where the Savior was laid.

He goes before you.  Do not be afraid.”

Jesus the Savior is risen from the dead.

He arose the third day just as He said.

The grave has no victory.  Death has no sting.

The grave could not hold the creator and King.

The Savior is risen from out of  the tomb.

Let not your heart then be fill with gloom.

The grave has no victory.  Death has no sting.

The grave could not hold our great Savior and King.
