I saw this as an honor to everyone of us as we all know that Inspirations of Samiplus forum is people-driven. It is all about you, me and us making the difference here. And again I’ll love to use this opportunity to congratulate us!!
This week, our “Article of Virtue” is featuring a true and fascinating story of Dr. Martin Luma, picturing the atrocious traverse he made even in far away Nazi Germany in his life’s journey through destiny. This all conquering article is made available, exclusively, to our forum by our friend and the son of the late African Statesman cum former Minister of Cameroon for over 17 years, Dr. Pierre Louma.
Born in Cameroon and graduated in Economy, Pierre has obtained various external Credits since 1985 from Import Export Bank of America, Hermes in Germany, BID and notably former Maryland Bank in the USA.
He was recommended by Exim Bank, America, for a special training on Export Credits, which enabled him to complete many Turnkey projects in Africa. These include:
v Education Projects - supply of school equipment
v Supply of caterpillars
v Supply of Radar equipment for Airports
v Refinery project etc
v Cement supply and construction projects
At that time of his major international operations, Pierre was in close working relations with the reference Officer at Import Export Bank of America - Mrs. Regina Brown, reference for Exim Projects, Mr. Mike Ueltzen, President of EEC, Virginia, and U.S.A.
Pierre has been in the consulting business for many years and has played a very important role in building Bilateral Trade conditions between Nations. A former member of the Finance committee of the National Presidential Elections, he led a Powerful delegation of 32 members, which included 4 Ministers , business men and social professionals to the official inauguration ( Diner and Gala ) of Former President Clinton of America. (This can be checked with the State/Presidential ceremonial authority in America)
Today he is working round the clock as the CEO of MNL Trust Fund with projects worldwide and seeking funds from various financial Institutions willing to support these lofty projects meant for the poor and developing countries of the world.
Dr. Pierre Ekamba Louma, though quite busy presently, will be on hand from time to time in the forum, to answer your questions and enquiries bothering on this article, himself and the MNL Trust.
Many thanks to my co-host Judy Smith for her usual striking and intellectual introduction and of course, our jewel of inestimable value, Lady Joyce Parker-Hyde for doing the marvelous job of reviewing our article. |
