Gaby, you did a marvelous job of reviewing Thomas' work. I can relate to your words:
"You don't have to be a Christian to believe in God, you don't have to attend church to believe in God, just accept God in your heart and He will be there to restore His joy for you in your time of need or to rejoice with you. I know as He is with me at all times, as I feel Him in my heart and as He will help me succeed; so is He available to every one of us."
"I believe and I will make it work." ... This is why you will succeed Gaby ... YOU BELIEVE in what you are doing ... and that's all that really matters!
