A Trilogy of Poetry About A Special Lady ( 2 From Past Forums)

                 My Angel of Hope

The Beauty within you

shows in any light,

For any man's eyes

your a glowing sight.

You bring to me all

I really need to live,

Everything around me

was all yours to give.

I feel the energy you

pass to me to have hope,

Showing me the way

from the sliding slopes.

Never promising of

things getting better,

Just showing me the

way to become a go-getter.

Filling me with the

love that I really need,

To show others how

to plant a positive seed.

Giving the courage to

move our lives ahead,

Moving away from the

negative things we dread.

You come around when

I am so down and out,

Picking me up when

I am ready to shout.

Showing me there is more

to life than wanting to die,

Just tell the truth instead

of wanting to tell a lie.

Letting me see your beauty

and colorful flying wings,

Guiding me down my

path where my Angel sings.

My Angel of Hope I have

finally met you once more,

You give me hope and

emotional support galore.

Michael you are a messager from above for in my stupper here you have the words that my wounded soul needs to hear.

Your word play and subtle message for those of us on this planet wanting desparately to hear. So I rejoice and encourage you to look deep into you soul and write dear Michael write. I send a my gift to you. Keep on keeping on.

jacqueline biggs   below was writen be me. smile dear one.

On silken wings

On silken wings I hover, just long enough to see.

Salty tidal waters crash upon a concrete pier.

Standing like some ancient sentinel

Those blackened wooden pillions useful to thy and me.

Securing above a well trodden promenade used in some bygone year.

Bobbing on churning surface waves

Vessels many of a more human design.

Lay exposed to the elements of time.

Softly breaking waters along sandy restful bays.

Those hot sunny days we spread our wings to dry and recline.

Long before my time, it is remembered.

Isolation and inclement weather kept away those upright creatures.

Change now has sprouted from this very earth

Enclaves of these beings now sheltered

Upon our hallowed shores they require a preacher.

To know what we by instinct know to be true.

That even with they’re billowing chimney stacks

Emitting aromatic waved of survival.

Simplicity has been attained by thy, because, thy grow

In time, laborious time you broke your own tender backs

As my brethren fly past, on fluttering wing

I seared my pain to the heavens.

Thinking now of my own survival

Dreams persist of just what an abundant school of savory salmon may bring

To the hungry mouths where I should be, my own little haven.

They Simply Beckon

 Yet

Is that not what all beings do?

Michael,

I feel a sense of wonder when I re-read this poem. So many times, the "beauty within" is not seen. It simply hides until someone brings it out of us. Then, when the right person comes along, the un-seen becomes visible. Not just to others but to  ourselves. As we look into that mirror, the smile returns to our faces just knowing that someone sees within us what we had forgotten for so long.

May we all see the beauty within one another. May we help others see it in themselves. May we all lift each other and let our hearts dance.
